Our vehicle: SUV Honda Pilot 2018. Purchased another brand and style for a long 21 hour drive this holiday season. 2 hours into the trip, we were re-filling it. Got to our destination, purchased another, it did the same thing on the way to our next destination, this was out third purchase...and boom, we have a winner. The height was great for the risers used to go into the foot space. Because they were separate, it made blowing things up easier, and storage better, because they were hollow. The width of the seat coverage was wider and it filled in the area, making for a more comfortable ride. The plug, was much sturdier than then others, and did NOT leak. We used the "pillows" included as a middle seat gap filler. We have 2 captains seats for the 2nd row, not a bench seat, the pillows filled the gap so that the bed did not sag in the middle. On the way home we moved it to the third row and found we did not need the risers, the pillows did just fine, because the leg space is very minimal on the third row. We pushed the seats forward a bit, and it made a great sleeping area. Overall: best thing I have purchased that is a "single application" item in a long, long time. My husband and I took turns sleeping and felt like we had a nice rest and arrived at our destination feeling better than we have in decades. This one was better made, and worked better for our vehicle. It held us nicely, were 150 and 175 lbs. Returned the other 2 purchased to Amazon for a refund once we got home, never could find a tear, I feel they leaked around the closing points. This one has a much tighter and different style of closure. I do feel it made the product hold the air better than the others. Hope this review helps you make a better choice.

Easy to inflate and install. Once inflated the mattress and seat gap support held the air over 3 weeks and even after very cold temps. The muti sized air inflator attachments appreciated. Does the job for sure. My large sedan back seat slopes toward the rear of the back seat. I found it more comfortable to place some support below the mattress to offset the typical seat slope just to level it up. Overall a good buy.

The media could not be loaded. When I was looking for an inflatable backseat bed, I couldn’t find one description or review that mentioned Captains Chairs (Bucket Seats) and how that impacted the performance of the inflatable. So I decided to write a review that tells you how this works. Spoiler alert, it’s mostly ok. My 2022 Kia Telluride second row of seats have bucket/captains chairs. I was looking for something to put in the floorboard of the second row that would provide a soft, level surface for my 70lbs dog on long haul road trips (12+ hours). I ordered this as a possible solution. Pros: 1) it fits in my car with only a minimal gap, 2) the 12volt cigarette air pump works great for inflating and deflating, 3) it’s pretty comfy and supportive 4) it provides an even surface from front to back….mostly 5) it works with captains chairs/ bucket seats!!! 6) unexpected bonus…it attracts dog hair and keeps my car a little cleaner Cons: 1) the bottom unit that supports the bed top and sits in the floorboard slips when you lay on it directly…see video…but you can fix it by pushing the front row seats firmly back or by adding some support around it in the floorboard, which is what I had to do because I was driving and needed the drivers seat forward 2) the air pump will only work if you have a cigarette lighter style 12volt port I’m 5’4” and as you can see, it supports me well unless I roll back over the floorboard, which causes the support to skip. Again, with the seats back this shouldn’t be a huge issue. Overall this is a good value for what you spend. It serves my purpose.

I inflated the product at 7pm and laid on it for about 3 and a half hours. I left the bed for water and when I came back and laid down I heard a pop followed by a hissing noise at the opposite side of the bed. One of the seams had split wide open and within minutes the bed was completely flat. I DID NOT EVEN GET TO FALL ASLEEP ON THE BED ONCE BEFORE IT BROKE. I'm a 5'2 121 pound petite Asian woman, so if the bed can't support my weight then it certainly wouldn't work out for any other adult. DO NOT BUY! This was the biggest waste of 30 bucks in my life!

I just bought this and so far it is functioning properly. However, I had a brief issue with inflating it which turned out to be due to my own misunderstanding. I see that a few others have experienced the same thing. So, here is how to resolve it. For those who have had the experience of too much air immediately rushing back out after disconnecting the pump, you are probably doing the same thing wrong that I was doing: You need to separate the inner plug from the outer plug and only pull the inner plug out before inflating. I was pulling the whole thing out. The large plug that goes into the large hole actually has two parts to it. There is a smaller cap/plug which inserts into the larger one. This larger plug has a flap inside which acts like a block valve to keep the air from escaping when you remove the pump. So, if you pull both parts out of the hole, as a single plug, to begin inflating, there will be no flap to hold the air in when you are done. The only time that you pull both out is when you are ready to deflate the mattress. Hope this helps.

Although the issue could have been on Amazon's end...the pump included with the air mattress was a 220 European style plug, and not a 110 plug. And there was no extension hose going to the tips, which makes filling the mattress a little bit of a pain. Fortunately, I already had a pump. Next, after two nights (where I deflated it and reinflated it each night), one of the recesses in the top of the mattress developed a crack of about 1/2" in length...and with the suede like finish of the mattress, the patch kit doesn't work to seal it. So, I had to go buy a patch kit. On the plus side, it IS a very comfortable mattress when it's inflated and all the leaks are fixed. But if you want one for long term use, this might not be for you.
