Listen up,, if u have a detroit u need this, or when ever u change fuel filters,, u can use the primer pump on filter block,, after 300 pumps, yule buy one. Awesome product, just put 100 psi in tank hook up to truck ck fitting open valve u can actually hear it pushing thru block, start truck turn off valve on hose unhook fitting, ur good to go. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered this Diesel Primer. I honestly should have read the item description a little closer instead of relying my 3AM capacity for understanding. I won't get into it, but all is well. A friend of mine is a diesel Bus/Truck Mechanic, so I asked him if this was something that he could make use of. He lit up like a neon sign "I Sure Can!" Anyway, I had him explain what this is for, and how it works, but it's best that I just tell you that according to him, it does exactly what he needs it to do. He refurbishes older diesel trucks and busses from the frame up, and every project comes with a flushed or rebuilt fuel system that USUALLY has to be primed manually. According to him, this system allows him to do that chose quickly and easily and without having to hand evacuate air from the system. He said it's a very well made, well thought out product. We purchased this for our shop and it works great. We have used it maybe 20 time and it has not let us down. The pump handle is ok but has a place to use an air chuck, much faster.
