The bottom llne is that this thing does work well. Now, you might want to wear ear protection when using this thing. It's not too different than standing next to a get engine at full throttle. I was planning on leaving this inside but after first turning it on I couldn't reach fast enough to turn it off. Pets in a one block radius began running for thier life and hissing like danger was all around them. I wondered if the universe was collapsing in on itself in an attempt to quell the racket this thing makes. So if you don't mind losing your hearing, or are already permanently deaf, I don't recommend using this indoors. I now keep it out in the garage for use when we are not going to be around. All that said, it definitely does a good job of cleaning everything very well, and I will continue to use it...you have been informed.

My only wish is that I'd bought the next size up. Using for cleaning motorcycle carbs, and this size is great for little dirt bikes, but not deep enough for large carbs like from 70's Ducati/Guzzi. Stainless steel components seem high quality. I had great luck using Pine Sol as the cleaning solution.

Had my son use it for cleaning motorcycle quad carb setup. Perfect results. Got a pack of damaged AK magazines, ran them thru, worked amazingly. *** Hint *** Turn heater on at least 20 minutes before you run if you completely fill tank with water. More water, more time to heat. Less water, less time to heat. Basic thing, but tend to forget water doesn't heat up Instantly. The drain adapter is pvc. Can upgrade at store for couple dollars. Also, for small parts, get a basket or 2. Stainless for chemicals you'll probably be using.

The product is excellent for this price. I have been reading some reviews before purchasing it. The bad ones don't make much sense. You just have to be patient and expect reasonable results. Afterall, it's a cleaning machine, not a magic box. For example: I had to clean some spray guns that were horribly neglected by the guys that used them. It takes multiple cycles to get rid of all the lacquer and it might not work with water or vinegar. I had to switch to mineral spirits and heat it up to maximum. I would not recommend using it in an enclosed space: the vapors could be harmful and the noise is amplified. I found a space for it in our woodworking shop, more specifically in the spray booth and I solved the problem. It saves a lot of time and money. Good investment.

Worked well on the first carb but second time that I used it (a month later) it stopped vibrating mid cycle. The heater works but no ultrasound now. Just outside the return window now. The one I got is JUNK.

It’s large enough to clean carburetors that’s for sure! Nicely manufactured unit with a cover that’s not warped! Imagine that! I appreciate the old school dials for clean time and temperature. The basket has an open weave so care must be taken for small parts. The only complaint I have is the drain hose was kinked enough in three places to restrict flow when draining. I’ll have to spend more money to replace it.
