My last OnePlus was a OnePlus 5 and I loved it. Then I switched to iPhone an SE and 12 Mini. I came back to android and got this one. This phone is super fast, the screen is very nice and the battery can last 2 days of light use. I do food delivery and can get a full day of hard use on it with a bit to spare. I carry my charger with me and it charges up to 100 in 30 minutes! I recommend this phone to anyone who loves android and clean software. I am a student on a budget and this phone surpassed my expectations. My only gripe is the software can (rarely) be a little buggy but that's few and far in between. I plan to have this phone for years. Works great with Visible by Verizon. This phone has everything you need and then some. It packs the power of a laptop and the camera quality of a DSLR. You can store an entire library of photos, games, and more without a problem. Setup is simple, and it works smoothly with just about everything. The build feels premium, with a solid weight that adds to its quality. It fits nicely in your pocket and looks sleek in that sexy black finish. The only thing I miss is the pop-up camera, but the stunning screen quality more than makes up for it. I've been through a fair number of types of phones in my time. Originally, I purchased a Pixel 8 and decided to return it after reading reviews about the battery. I came to the decision of the OnePlus 12R because it was moderately priced for the expected quality and met all of my immediate needs. The phone is designed well. The storage is sufficient and the memory provides a dynamic flow of app manageability. The phone has unique features which are able to be applied through the settings. One feature I LOVE and have not seen since the Galaxy S5 is the infrared sensor! This scored major points with me as I stay in hotels frequently and sometimes hotel remotes are janky or limited. The ability to use my phone as a TV remote is immensely helpful. Another great feature is the battery life and charging speed . People are accurate in their descriptions as the phone will charge very quickly and the battery life will last a moderate amount of time even when actively using the device. Additionally, the camera is of higher quality and provides quality images and videos as well as provides useful options and setting features in the default camera. I can say with surety that for the price, this phone is well worth the money and may be the best contender on the list in the range . ... show more

    • The battery does not as long as they say.
Firstly. The OnePlus 12R is a great phone, performance wise, it really does not lag and it just runs, apps launch fast. I am a pretty heavy phone user and the phone really just respond to any task. The camera is what to be expected from a midrange phone, I am not a passionate photographer, but if I compare it to the camera of the Galaxy S21 FE with the abysmal Exynos processor, my previous phone, the photos are a little less vibrant, but still really good. The battery however, even being reasonable, it does not last that long, I can get through a day max, but the wonderful part is that, that the supercharger that comes in the box, charges the phone to about 70-80% in about 20 minutes, which is spectacular, so even if the battery does not last as long as I expected, the super fast charging kind of makes up for that. But I am still removing one star, as I did expect the battery to last slightly longer from what I read (I would give 4.5 if I could). Another tiny thing, the autorotate is a little too sensitive, which can be a little bit annoying at times, but it is a tiny thing. I am not a fan of the launchers that come with the phone, but I always install and set Microsoft Launcher as a default, so I don't really care as long as the OS running doesn't annoy me in any way and Oxygen OS just seems to chug away.
