These lights are great in my car, I own a Toyota Camry 2015 and these lights fit perfectly, when you manage the wires it’s perfect! only thing not perfect for my car is that, the back seats are cloth, so when trying to adhere them on, they fall. I had to result into the included zip ties and after using those they were just fine! I recommend you do clean the area you’ll adhere them too with alcohol! I’ll include a video when I get the chance

First thing, it is two seperate clear plastic pieces. Outer layer and inner core. The come seperate and you have to stretch out the outer layer and slide the inner core, which can be a pain in the butt. Flexibility is good, you can insert it into the proper areas really well depending on how you run it. The plastic spatula can be a lot stiffer which would help tremendously as it’s really flimsy. I only did the dash of my car and put both ends into the light sources to try and help make the lighting brighter. To be clear *this will not be visible during the day* I had hoped putting the light on either end would help but that is a hard no. I wish these were brighter to see them during the day at least a little. Overall it’s not a bad product but expectations were probably too high.

I recently purchased a new 2021 Toyota RAV4 and I wanted to customize it a little bit. I wanted to add in some ambient lighting, but I didn’t want the standard foot well lighting kit that most people get. I wanted something a bit more customizable with a little more of a luxury feel. Through some research I stumbled upon someone doing a review of this product and I thought well it’s cheap enough to give it a shot. The packaging is simple and straight to the point although the instructions slip is in a different language. You basically just insert this thin plastic strip into a plastic tube and that’s it really. You need to make sure that there’s excess wire hanging out of the tube or else the little light clamp won’t be able to attach. Depending on what kind of car you have and how many panel gaps you have it really is easy to install and it helps that they provide a panel gap spreader tool. As long as you don’t have any exposed wires hanging out that you might trip on, the tubing should stick for quite some time. The app is pretty convenient too. Lots of different setting and you can adjust the brightness and speed (to change how fast it switches from one color to another if you want more of a fade effect or a quick jumping type) of all the colors. You can sync it to music, but it’s only music played through their app which is unfortunate. The only downsides I can see are that the tubing does stand out just a little bit during the day. As opposed to something like EL wire that just looks like an accent strip during the day these lights do look a little odd during the day. If you’re familiar with wiring I highly recommend shorting the wires a bit, there’s five connections to the main cigarette plug and the wires are fairly long. For good reason as it gives you plenty of room to work with if you plan on placing these far from the plug but once you narrow down where you want them that excess wiring can get kind of annoying. Also, as for the Four stars, each of the five connections comes with a small semi circle clear piece of (I’m not sure if it’s plastic or glass) plastic that I’m sure spreads out the light more efficiently. Well mine was missing one of those upon arrival, so now the light doesn’t show through that piece as vividly. As well as the piece that connects to the plug looks like it’s been scratched up a bit almost as if it’s a reused piece. Overall, a lot better than expected and I get great reactions out of it all the time by people that get in the car. It’s fairly priced and as long as your car has the gaps this is hands down better than some lights that sit at your feet.

I don’t know where to begin with this thing… I don’t know if I should talk about the 3+ hours of installation it took from opening the box to finishing. Or the fact that it only works at night (dark places). It’s really cool when it is night and does hide really well in the car. At the end of the day I went with 4 stars because it is pretty cool at night. If you are handy and good at problem solving, critical thinking, and never had a problem with tedious jobs then it could be a fun Sunday job for you. If you have the time and skill give it a go. Once again it literally is totally ineffective during the day. I wish you the best of luck during your installment because my hands hurt.

Was a little hard to install and took me 2 hours. Came out great, just wish it came with some tape or something to make hiding wires easier. Also did not get mine with a remote but I downloaded the app so I’ll do it from there. Overall a good product.

I had pictures but can’t find them. It did not work well. The light worked in some areas and not in others. Also, 1 light doesn’t do the whole dashboard area, I had to use 3 lights. Ended up buying a different plastic strip that is only 1 picece which was much easier.
