First, I am not an audiophile. but I can recognize bad sound quality. So, I am probably the target audience for ~$30 headphones. These are fantastic sound quality for the price. I cannot stress this enough. I have used them for about two years before finally upgrading to PHILIPS SHP9500. I haven't noticed a massive increase in sound quality. They have different sounds, but I don't know if I can label one better or worse. However, the PHILIPS are more comfortable. However, it comes with a few downsides: 1. These are not very comfortable when using for hours on end. They are tight on the ears and my ears often feel cramped after using them. They don't always hurt, but they can. 2. The build quality is fine, but the faux leather will eventually start to peel and shed onto you. This happened to me after about two years, so it wasn't immediate or anything, but it will happen eventually. 3. The hinged bits are a bit awkward. That is purely subjective, but it can be occasionally annoying to lip them to the right side. I don't think there is really a benefit to the design either - maybe it makes them somewhat more portable, but I did not use them for that. Overall, they have sounded good for two-years for $30 bucks and I replaced them because I was starting to get annoyed with them and I was more comfortable spending more money to replace them. I needed to replace the cord once, and when that cord broke I got a new headphones. I would give these 4.5 if I could. The build leaves something to be desired, but it didn't break or sound worse - it just shed and was a bit uncomfortable. If you can spend more money, you can find something more comfortable and that likely has been quality if you can discern it. But, for $30 bucks these are great. ... show more

I really like that they are light weight and swivel, also much better than standard preset ear pads that leave a gap when on your head, these leave no gap because they move and swivel freely. Sound is very good, deep base which I like. I have an old set of ear plugs that sound great but irritate my ears but they also have great stereo sound. I have only had these one evening to listen so can't really say on stereo level yet. I did pay several dollars more to get the pink set over the black set but I'm sure same quality, I did compare between Walmart and Amazon which is $1 more per and only Amazon has the pink and blue sets, reviews were pretty equal on all OneOdio so I felt confident in purchasing these. They said for children but I found no difference in size at all and they are adjustable to fit any size adult head, I suppose they close enough for a child as well again a better fit for their swivel ability. They also came in a nice carry bag, with instructions and 2 sets of plug ins and they are not as weighty as others I've owned. In my case I've always gotten a headache within a few hours even wearing the old headbands of my younger days but can't fault these for my propensity to headaches. All in all I really like these and highly recommend them. The pink gave me a feel of earlier days so a boost by color, our senses do react to all things. I swiveled them down wearing the head peace under my chin loosely and the sound remained perfect due to the swivel ability which also makes the perfect to fold up and put in the carry bag making a smaller space than typical headsets to carry, another good feature. Seems this company has thought of everything including good padding on the over the head part, very well padded for comfort of use. I would buy these again and got them in 2 days, on a Sunday no less, as promised so again pleased with my selections on all fronts. I've never been given anything to test including these for a review or any reason on any product. So my comments are true and you can count in them, I always read comments and some get rather negative about everything. I only write reviews when I'm really impressed. I'm leaning how to play the drums. For practice and for the sanity of my household, I practice on my electric set. I was using the free in ear phones that came with my drumeo subscription. They were okay but I decided to switch to an over ear set. I was hesitant because the sound from the drumeo phones was really good and was worried that these woud be tinny. Well, they are not. They are better than my drumeo freebies and they stay in place. In fact,I can hear more individualized drums with more clarity. The bass is sooo good too. I can't believe that I bought a cheap pair of earphones and they are literally the best. My daughter didn't believe me and made me try her 150 euro jbl's and they were no where near as good as these. I am one happy woman right now. ... show more

Excellent sound quality. Triple bass drivers and you can really feel the bass. Crystal clear quality, easily replaceable chords so they are not dead in the water if you have cable issues. Extremely loud - Warning. I use these on my PC mainly. I have a FiiO mini amp that really makes this headset pop. Everything works as advertised, this a high quality headset. I highly recommend these for a budget shopper. They actually will contend with some $1k+ headsets of more superior brand names. For the price on Amazon, it is worth a try before you dump a $1,000.00+ on a headset. Again though, I use a FiiO mini amp, you need a good sound card or mobile mini amp to get the full potential out of this headset. You know those $200 Apple Earpods you have? If you like the sound of those, you'll love these. (I won't wear any ear buds - zero - none.) <OR> pay $200 for nice headphones and $20 for ear buds. Seriously: Sound quality: As I said. Superb for the price Build quality: A bit thin, so don't sit on them :) Comfort: Decent, not bad. Overall: If you want to go cheap, I'd say these are amazing.
