This allows for effortless removal of the most significant residential screw-in water heater elements and anode rod size, including those in RVs and Camper Travel Trailers.
  • DimensionsOne end of this tool measures 1-1/2-inch hex for removing all residential screw-in water heater elements, while the other end measures 1-1/16-inch hex for removing all 3/4" NPT anode rods. This makes regular water heater maintenance effortless without the need for any additional equipment.
  • PracticalityThe overall length of this tool is 10 inches (250mm) with 0.31" (8mm) cross holes for turning (compatible with any screwdriver), offering the necessary clearance for an accurate connection and effortless loosening. • Couldn't have gotten the heating-element out without ot
This done the job, I had tried everything to remove my old heating element from my suburban water heater. Nothing would fit, theni seen this tool, it fit perfectly and I had the element out within 5 minutes. Well worth the money spent, just wished I would've spent it sooner.

  • It is long enough to turn it without busting you knuckles.
I have one but it is short and hard to turn. This one is long enough that it it easy to turn and the big plus is it is a drain plug removal tool as well

  • New RV'er
My new, used RV was failing to heat water with the electric, so along with buying a new element we also added this tool. It was a smart move as I'm not sure how we would have been able to remove the broken/failed element and properly torque or seat the new element into the water heater. For the time you save, this tool is well worth the price paid. Of course your mileage may vary and you may have another type of tool, but this one worked 1st time and I keep this tool in my spare box of parts and tools in the RV. ... show more

  • Great price for a pretty standard product
Did the trick in fixing my RV water heater issue. I noticed it was not holding hot water for very long so I did a little research and everything led to a bad element. Once I changed it we had better and more hot water than before because the old element was so limed up from hard water at the camp ground. The tool included in the purchase is a must because in order to remove the element you must have a thin walled socket, which i did not have. Insert a long, sturdy screwdriver in the hole at the opposite end and twist the old element off and then twist the new one one. Easy and done! ... show more
