Gamers, be very cautious with this product. It is built well, grounded well, sturdy, clicky, great quality especially for the price. But be very warned if you're already very comfortable on s standard keyboard this one has a slightly different button layout. Primarily the number keys, which for most a quarter to half inch wouldnt be a huge deal but for me it was a deal breaker. The 2&3 keys are not in their typical location so just make sure you're willing for a readjustment period if switching to this. Keys are satisfying, nice switches, clicky and responsive. Feels comfortable to use. The wrist rest CAN NOT be detached but it's comfortable anyways so it's better with it there. Manual explains things very well and the lighting is very well done for having no software application and being strictly programmed to the device. Only gripe is that the function keys are a little quirky with how to program them but they do work, you just have to know what can and can not work with them. I love the aesthetics of this gaming keyboard pad, but more importantly it's well made and has some ergonomic details that often are overlooked by other game pad designs. The textures keypads helps you "home" on the right keys easily by touch alone. I love the fact that the function keys are not on top but along the sides - for me that them easier to reach - as I like having the topmost row of keys be my main skillbinds. I picked this up to replace the RedLighting that I was using and my wife spilled her drink on. For the $20ish bucks, I figured it was cheaper than the RedLightning and having a spare mouse doesn't hurt. It came quickly and I plugged it into my laptop to play some Destiny. The issue, it uses some type of muchy keys that don't always register. Granted, I was used to the mechanical keys on the RedLighting, which click when they register. On this one, fast repeat actions (like a double jump) don't always register unless you press really hard on the keys. It is a pity, as I like the key layout better than my old half-keyboard. Also, the design of the keys makes the backlighting very bright under the keys, but not very bright on the keys. If the backlighting were white, this wouldn't be as much of an issue. Since the lighting is a rainbow effect, some of the colors make seeing the keys harder at night. All-in-all, you do get a lot for the price. And if you aren't a big gamer and need a setup like this -- with a mouse -- for $20, this should still be a consideration. For anyone who needs more precision, this isn't the setup for you. ... show more

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Really cool color and pattern options and the keys are lined up more natural to a typical keyboard and price are the pros for this thing. Now on to the ONE HUGE, annoying con: I've never in my life had a keyboard sound so loud with each button press. I can't even believe how ridiculously loud each press of the key is. Video attached -- It's not even normal. Parents: DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR KIDS, especially for gaming! THE SOUND WILL DRIVE YOU NUTS! While they have their headphones on they won't care but you'll be driven crazy by the really loud and annoying click sounds this thing produces at every press of a button. Needless to say, this is going right back. Was delivered only a few minutes ago. Shame. I really was excited to get this device to use for Photoshop shortcuts but I'd need a straight jacket after two minutes of using it. ... show more

At this price, I am very surprised with the quality of the product. It's solidly built, works well and the light feature is simply to use. It may not appeal more demanding users but for me it's just right. What's missing? Not much but a tenting option would have helped with ergonomics, and also a better padding in the wrist rest would have been welcomed. Finally I'm not a fan of blue switches but I knew of it when I bought it so it's fine. Again, this is a fantastic product if compared to much more expensive options.
