When you search for prenatal supplements it can feel extremely overwhelming (and pricey) because the market is so saturated. I started off my pregnancy taking gummy supplements I found at target and soon realized they were causing me to crave more sugar. So I asked my maternal Fetal Medicine doctor if they could make my life easy and choose for me. They recommended these because they have quality ingredients, DHA is included, and aren't outrageously overpriced. I have been taking these for 7 months now and can't complain at all. They have no after flavor, they don't make me sick, and they are easy to swallow. The biggest side effects I've discovered is that my hair feels much fuller and I'm losing way less strands with each wash/brush. In addition my fingernails have never been healthier. Some of this might also be contributed to the pregnancy itself so it's hard to tell. I'd highly recommend this trusted brand and will plan on taking their postnatal supplements in a couple more months. ... show more

These seem to have the best, all around supplementation (including iron.) hate that they are so big, but better than taking a normal one and a second pill for iron.

Does it smell rancid? Yes. Does it taste rancid? Yes. But does it do what it’s supposed to? Also yes. I’m not even pregnant yet so I cant imagine having to stomach these while also struggling with morning sickness. But I will admit — they give me a boost and I feel better when I take them. Just swallow fast with a huge gulp of water and try not to let them touch your tongue. ... show more

Having to take this during morning sickness is very difficult. Tastes awful but goes down easier with orange juice or anything with a strong flavor to mask it

    • Fishy smell and tste
This product recently changed their formula and now has a terrible fishy smell and taste. It’s absolutely horrible and the smell stays on your hands. The smell is overwhelming as soon as you open the bottle. If you have any issues with nausea this is NOT the product for you!
