  • Does the job
Nice basic unit. I've had run ins with asthma since childhood. I understand the lung capacity diminishes somewhat over time. This device helps me keep track of what is happening. Simple charting included that is readily duplicated using an excel spreadsheet. I like the foldable built-in handle. It comes pre-set with the average rates per person type as a visible gauge. Of course, we are unique, so your readings are your own to track. ... show more

  • Better than the digital ones
This is a great little device. No bells and whistles, just a device that works and doesn’t need batteries.

  • Easy to use
I ordered a peak flow meter per my allergist’s recommendation. This one is very easy to use and closes up nicely. Not as pricey as the fancier ones. It is plastic, but seems durable enough for my needs as an adult.

  • Works great
I like how simple this meter works. And it’s a good way to know what my outgoing breath is. The little tabs are a good reminder of what your usual blowing out is. very happy with the price and the way it works.

  • bring back the clear ASSESS peak flow meter
I have asthma and had a clear ASSESS peak flow meter for years. It broke this summer so I tried to find one from ASSESS. I guess they sold the company because each medical supply store had these instead. The numbers are tiny and spaced closely together as a plastic stick on-rather than printed as on my device. This plastic number range looks like it could peel off easily-especially if exposed to heat. This is much smaller so you can probably carry it in your purse. It is a thicker material (almost metallic) so it's probably more sturdy. I needed something so I kept it....but I'm still looking for the CLEAR ASSESS peak flow meters :) ... show more
