Flies beautifully, in "normal" "stabilized" mode, right out of the box! Flies gorgeously, in "Idle-Up 1", haven't tried Idle-Up 2 yet. With the stock battery, you get about 4 minutes flight time. Battery is included ***BUT CHARGER IS NOT. The RTF Transmitter is actually great IMO. Despite the gaming controller look, it is full featured; with an LCD screen, a great many switches and buttons, timer, voice alerts, and more. The RTF TX comes ready to go with all the applicable switches preassigned on the radio. The switches are not labeled, but if you switch one on, the voice alert tells you what that switch is engaging. It uses batteries that are rechargeable within the TX, ***BUT TRANSMITTER BATTERIES ARE NOT INCLUDED. Amazon did well. the package showed up very quickly and in good condition. To clarify some other reviews..this helicopter is not RTF, Ready To Fly. As others have mentioned, it does not include the batteries for the transmitter. The required batteries are not readily available, so they need to be ordered separately as they are specialized. I feel that this is a huge oversight by the manufacturer. It disqualifies the product as RTF in my opinion. The heli itself is beautifully made and uses high quality parts. I have been in the hobby for most of my 50 years and impressed with this. My only complaint is that the pitch/throttle curves are not adjustable. Even in Normal mode, the heli has significant negative collective which can cause some really fast descents. It is like being in Idle Up. ... show more

    • Fantastic helicopter!
Far exceeded my expectations for a 200 class helicopter, it feels like a 450 in the air. Omp has knocked it out of the park. Radiomaster zorro works great as well, took a little to get used to it as I normally fly with box style radios. Not for beginners!

    • I returned this FYI.... too much BS for a newb like me.
Ok, likely not for beginners - and I get it. I thought the kit looked real nice, but after playing around with it for a while, I found that the the FULL RTF kit with controller is not really ready to fly. The heli came with batteries but no charger - dumb right. Then the controller would not charge - yep you guessed it, not batteries, but came with a charge cord. So, I dont know the real definition of RTF, but this just reminds of that expensive toy/gift that is ready to go, but the OLD batteries / charger not included. COME ON MAN, what is this 1980. So that was strike 2. The last issued before I send this back, was the blade holder screws that held the main blades were way too tight and adjusting the screw/nut a little didn't work as the spaces made the blade fit to tight...BTW, Im used to the old gas full 3D type helicopters, and definitely need time to sort out all of the new stuff with electric helicopters. ... show more

    • Not so RTF
Today was looking like a great day to fly. Unpacked everything only to discover that while the M2 includes a battery, the radio controller does not. This is not on the listing. Obviously, very disappointed. These are 18350 cells, not some 9V batteries you can just pick up on your grocery run. Does OMPHobby expect people just have these lying around?? Helicopter looks great on my desk. Beeps and lights up, too. To be continued... ... show more

So I want to say I've never owned a 3D helicopter before but I've had a couple of the little toys and when I open this package and seen the quality I realized I had opened something very serious. After reading all the literature and watching as many videos as possible I opened the package the rest of the way inserted all proper batteries, which I read ahead some of the literature and ordered batteries for the transmitter ahead of time so I had them ready, charged everything and headed outside and boy what a beautiful flying machine.
