  • Keyboard works great and mouse is perfectly normal too!
I wanted this because I’m used to a Mac keyboard but I’m a windows person now. The design is sleek and easy. I don’t mind the mouse at all, some here complain but I have no issues whatsoever. The usb port on the keyboard can actually proxy my wireless mouse usb as well, so you don’t have to use the mouse if you don’t want to! Though it works just fine anyways. If you are a windows person though, you do have to be aware that the command key still doesn’t operate in the way it does on a Mac, so it’s not perfect, but the ctrl key still works for copy and paste like it normally would on any windows keyboard ... show more

  • Keyboard Looks and Feels Like Mac Chiclet Style Keyboard!
So my newer iMacs have all come with that “chiclet” style keyboard; if you own a Mac you know what I’m talking about. Well, some of my older iMacs are still running just fine, but the problem I have is that they have that horrendous Apple mechanical keyboard. Those old mechanical keys just felt like they wanted to fight your every key press, so touch typing and any sort of quick typing was out of the question. It boggles the mind how bad Apple’s keyboards were for years. And to be honest, I didn’t like the chiclet style keyboard at first either, but I have grown to accept them, and they are still way better than the old mechanical keyboard I am replacing, I'll tell you what. I took a photo of the old one next to the OMOTON wired keyboard. Sure, there’s no numeric keypad, but I rarely used that anyway, and so that extended keyboard basically took up more desk space. The keyboard was recognized by the Mac right away, although since it’s not an Apple brand keyboard, you do have to go into the System Settings, choose Keyboard, and then follow the instructions by pressing the key adjacent to the two Shift keys before you’re all set and ready to use it. They keyboard cable has a single cable with a male USB type-C connector with a built-in adapter that allows you to plug it into a USB type-A port (that’s what my older iMac has). The keyboard as two convenient female ports on the back, a USB type-C as well as a USB type-A, so you can plug a mouse into it rather than to another port on the back of your computer. And speaking of the mouse, the wired mouse should have no trouble whatsoever plugging directly into the back of the computer and then routing it up to where your keyboard and mouse pad are, considering the mouse cable is an incredible 5 feet! In fact, the mouse cable is so long that if you were to plug it into the keyboard itself, you really have way too much cable getting in the way on your desk. So while some will appreciate the length of the mouse cord, others will probably hate it. The mouse is two-button, with a roller wheel in the center allowing you to scroll pages vertically. I just wish it had a roller ball instead so that you could scroll both vertically and horizontally. Oh, and there's a little button on the mouse that I believe is for "dpi" but whether clicking on it made the optical resolution better, I couldn't really tell. To me, the OMOTON keyboard felt just as good as another one of my Apple chiclet style keyboards and I'm happy I got it. ... show more

  • Great quality and works well
Great compact size I wanted a more compact keyboard for my wfh setup. When I saw this I knew I had to try it out. While I wish there was a wireless option, I do like that this has a decent sized cord. I didn’t end up using the wired mouse as I have a wireless one I prefer using. The keyboard quality is quite similar to the actual Apple branded one I have at the office. I really like that it comes with both usb and usb-c plugin options! It provides great flexibility. The only thing I’m noticing is that my fingers need to be retrained a bit because this keyboard is narrower. The other thing that I want to point out is that my computer requires me to confirm the keyboard every time i reconnect it. It’s just a 3 step prompt but still sort of weird that I need to do it every time. Overall I’m very happy with this keyboard and definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Useful, easy to use wired keyboard
Excellent keyboard, adequate mouse. Using this keyboard with an older Apple desktop. The Apple wireless keyboard and mouse that came with the computer work well but battery replacement is a continuing issue. The Omoton wired keyboard is almost an exact duplicate in size, build quality, and layout to the Apple wireless keyboard-- without the hassle of having to replace batteries multiple times a year. (Apple wireless keyboard is on left of photo, Omoton on right). The keys are responsive and of good quality. The mouse is basic and works well but without any special function buttons. Overall, a good value. ... show more

  • Great design. Love it.
Hooked up great. Looks great. I just love this design. Looks high end like Apple products without the giant price tag or worrying about blue tooth signals. The mouse seem like an afterthought, but I bought an $8 white mouse also on Amazon that hooked up fine. Great buy. The only reason it lost a star is due to the price and value compared to the market. Simiarly priced white keyboards that are Best Sellers on Amazon are at $16-$17 and a much better mouse will run you $8 or so. So this is overpriced by about $5. If this was priced according to the market, I would have rated it 5 stars. ... show more

  • Bit of a let down, smaller and flimsier than expected
I was excited to receive this item, but it just ended up being a little too chincy to be very enjoyable. It's also significantly smaller than I expected - the same size as my 16" laptop's keyboard, when I was assuming it'd be larger. That's on me for not looking at the dimensions carefully. The mouse is also not incredibly confidence inspiring, and as advertised, both are also wired. It's just not worth it for me to use this set when there are comparably priced wireless, sturdier ones available. That said, there isn't anything functionally wrong with this set. ... show more
