I like that it comes with mounting hardware and emergency battery pack in case of electronic failure. While a professional criminal could cut through this thing with an angle grinder in under a minute, I feel like it's a good solution as a gun safe or for less valuable items. It's a cool little safe. You'd want to lag bolt it to a couple of wall studs if you really wanted it to remain in your residence. Otherwise, a thief could just pick it up and leave with it. When I received it, the inner felt-like cover had come detached from the inside of the door. Not a huge deal, but it's worth noting. All in all, I like the safe.     • Sturdy construction w/ 4 large diameter locking bolts. Adequate for home use.
Effective for keeping documents, jewelry, and other things secure at home so that kids and cleaners and guests don't "accidentally" see or take anything sensitive or valuable. Supporting 2 PINs is convenient so that my wife and I can have our respective preferred PINs. The safe has sturdy construction, and it can be securely attached to a wall as well as the floor with included bolts and predrilled inside holes. The audible alarm adds another deterrent against would be thieves. Adjustable shelves and carpeting throughout are good features. So are the emergency battery pack and manual override keys. However, for the list price of $190, I would've expected better non-slip foot pads than the included ones that attach with adhesive tape to the bottom of the safe rather than screwed into pre-drilled holes. ... show more

I recently had a chance to use the Omethey 2.0 Cub Home Safe, and it's been remarkably helpful for storing my small valuables and essential documents. The robust steel construction and 60mm solid steel door offer excellent resistance to drilling and prying attempts. It has four locking bolts, and while I know that it's not going to keep out a seasoned safecracker, it should be more than enough for anyone who's tempted by my "valuables." It's more spacious than I expected, with 2.0 cubic feet of storage and adjustable shelves to accommodate various items. The security was impressive to me, featuring a dual alarm system that activates on repeated incorrect passcodes or any violent vibrations. The three-way unlocking system is quite convenient - I can use the code, emergency key or an external battery if the internal one is weak. I was also very happy to find the built-in LED light, providing easy access in the dark. All in all, it's an incredibly secure and practical safe that adds peace of mind to my home. ... show more

This box safe is exactly what I was looking for. Very heavy and well made. I like how you can secure it to the floor or wall.
