I purchased this to be additional storage for my little sewing room. After the challenge of assembly each drawer and putting it together, I feel great joy in knowing that each drawer is ample and takes up many of my sewing supplies. I got organized very fast and I was up and running by the end of the day. My advice is if you assemble it follow the instructions exactly and take your time. Otherwise it’s an incredible unit. I love the fact that it’s on wheels as it wheels underneath my sewing table and can be out of sight or I can pull it off to the side and use it as an additional table top. Very, very versatile I have another version of it in my art studio both of which are really used daily in my world organization is 2020. You don’t have time to search for things so having it there where you need it is very important as appearance goes. It’s really handsome. I enjoy it. It goes with my very minimal studio aesthetics. Where the art covers everything else. Very attractive very easy to clean very easy to use again. Just take your time and assembling it and I think you’ll be very happy. If far out ways other stores that sell these type of cabinets it’s better made than a certain Swedish company that I go to. Sometimes I chose this over a commercial furniture store. The quality is next to none really I’m impressed very solid. If I needed another set of drawers, I would definitely be buying another one. That’s how good this system is enjoy. Hope it helps you.

This flat-packed file cabinet is better than the price point suggests. It was easy to assemble, sturdy, and makes my under-the-desk storage more organized. Frankly, I used to have a lot of bent, bowed, folded, crumbled, marked paper - and now I have specialty paper stored in a condition that can be put to work. I also love that even with the wheels, it fits under my desk. Drawers move smoothly. Black finish disappears under the desk in a good way (unlike the rickety stack of messy paper that was there before). My negative? The inside of the drawer is only 15 1/4" wide, which means that a drawer will not hold two pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 side by side; if they had made the inside diameter of the drawer two inches bigger I would have been over the moon! The piece is big/wide without adding the extra benefit of more efficient paper storage. Now, I store envelopes alongside paper (it's not the end of the world, it just could be better). This review could have taken a darker turn but they have GREAT customer service! When I was assembling the piece, I discovered one piece was mis-drilled. No one wants to disassemble and repack a cabinet for a return... NO PROBLEM! My email was promptly responded to and the part was immediately shipped to my house - as part of an entire replacement unit. Clearly, this was a one-off error because the second build did not have any mis-drilled pieces and went together quickly. Very pleased. I would buy from this vendor again.

This file cabinet looks great in my home office and was the perfect size to fit under my desk. The drawers provide plenty of storage, and the wheels make it easy to move around when needed. Assembly took some time, but the instructions were fairly easy to follow. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some parts felt a little less sturdy than I expected. Overall, though, it's a nice-looking and functional cabinet that helps keep my workspace organized.

This was exactly what I needed. I dont have hanging files but needed a place to store oddball things in my home office. There are a ton of screws so get ready but I used a battery operated screwdriver to help with that. I dont recommend one if you arent familiar with how easy it is to strip these out but I've been around tools and woodworking my entire life. Directions are straight forward and it took me less than 30mins from start to finish. I may decide to buy another.

DO NOT BUY! Pre drilled holes are off alignment so drawers do not line up. Had to measure each one, take apart and re-drill new holes. A waste of time. In addition, the quality is awful. Dirty and scratched up. Some of the material is already coming up in the corners (facing front) and I haven’t even finished putting it together.

cons: -this thing weighs a ton! But I knew it would, being particle board. -I was a little intimidated when I opened the box and saw how many pieces there were. -castors are cheap plastic. Again, I expected that and will replace them easily with better ones when they start to annoy me enough. -there was a slight mark on the top. It's almost imperceptible after I worked at it with a magic sponge. pros: -Fits well under my desk -It has actual sliders for the drawers that were well marked and assembled without difficulty. -extra hardware was provided! Of course I didn't drop and lose a screw this time. But it is a statement of the manufacturer's commitment. -All pieces were clearly marked and accounted for. -Assembly and alignment went easily. Instructions provided both pictures AND words. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. It is functional for my needs and is quite sturdy for indoors. It isn't Ethan Allen, but it is exactly what I needed. While I listed my complaints above, the finished product is well within my expectations for the price I paid.

I purchased this for my sewing room and I love it! A few things to note... 1) There's lots of pieces of hardware; however, they are all packaged and labeled so you know exactly what you have. I always compare with the parts lists when buying furniture that needs assembly and I can attest that everything was included PLUS they is a few extra of the hardware pieces. I liked that! 2) The instructions came in a booklet. In my booklet, the pages were out of order. For example, the 1st instruction step upon opening of the booklet was step #15 instead of #1. My OCD couldn't handle just flipping pages back and forth to find the correct step I was actually on and since I make small booklets at work, I knew exactly how to fix. Remove staples, find the correct page order and re-staple. Whalla! After that, putting it together was fairly simple. And 3)The only thing I wasn't sure about was the very last step of attaching a plastic buckle piece (labeled "G") into the backside. There was no clear instruction of exactly how to place them nor was there any explanation of what their purpose is. The cabinet is all finished up to that point, so I just left mine off. I think it'll be just fine. Time will tell though. I also chose to not install the wheels and instead purchased some 4" legs and used those instead. That was easy to do, but did have to pre-drill some new holes for the screws. All in all I'm VERY satisfied with this purchase and will definitely order more as needed!

Paper instructions show the screw in the wrong hole on step 2 that will add 30 angry minutes to your build. Video instructions say E screws on that same step, but it’s supposed to be M screws. Frustration aside, this is a nice cabinet.
