We recently had rubber bath toys for my LO, who went to town on chewing the toys. My husband decided to cut the toy open and found mold in it. Mind you I'm pretty finicky about not leaving any of his toys in the water after bath time. I squeeze them out and let them dry. So it was pretty nasty to find out that the rubber bath toys we had were filled with mold!! Yuck!!! I went on a hunt to find something organic/natural & durable. Something that would not accumulate mold at all (so NO hole in the toy), safe , natural and that my son could just go to town chewing it. Found Oli and Carol! Love ,love the product! It is a bit pricey for a toy but for the safety and health of my son I was willing to pay the money. So far it has held up pretty well. Son loves to chew on it like no bodies business. This little gem has all the charm of a classic bath ducky, but none of the paint chemicals or mold potential, thanks to its one solid piece of rubber construction. We've used it for almost 10 months and it still looks brand new. It floats quite well, although it will topple over since it's not weighted. Also serves as a nice "chew toy" for toddler teething relief. A tad pricey, but it's the best option I could find for natural bath toys. ... show more

I was looking for bath toys that didn't have holes in them to prevent mold and mildew and this is perfect. I also like traditional, and not too flashy toys, this also fits that description. My only complaint, and it is minor - this is after all just a children's bath toy, is that the duck tends to float on its side instead of upright. ... show more

I have had an oli and Carol rubber duck before and LOVED it. It was my kid's favorite bath toy, but that one floated properly. This one tips over sideways EVERY time you put it in the water, no matter how slowly it carefully you set it. It also always tilts to the SAME side, so I think there must be more rubber on one side of the head or body than the other. ... show more

I purchased a rubber ducky and it’s completely grey on one side after one use. It must have been left in a shallow pool of water post bath? I’m not sure, but I am incredibly dismayed as this was a pricey toy i invested in and planned to own for a long time. There was nothing on the box or in the instructions that stated it needed special care or said that it could discolor if not kept totally dry. My goodness: it’s a bath toy!!! ... show more

Wanted to love this, it’s so cute and we liked that no water gets inside. But it doesn’t float upright at all! It just falls over on its side each time.
