Just got it & didn't think I'd get the wrapping off it that protects the watch & the stem guard. Finally did but I have actual sm wrists & wear @ least a little under a size 7 bracelet & this is @ least an 8 in band. But it is what it is. So off the top of my head its gonna take @ least 4 tops links out. I'm gonna go to a jeweler @ a Pawn Shop (yes pawn shops do links & batteries etc) tomorrow for a professional cuz i might mess it up (its not my ability) but i was disappointed in the fact it actually wasn't for a sm wrists. Pls guys dont say it is when its really not cuz others will be disappointed. Now for the better parts. Came 2 days earlier than quoted. Was wrapped good (once you can get it unwrapped) for safety. Looks like the picture & hope the other kinda negative reviews arent for mine since I want to enjoy mine for awhile. Feels nice on my arm from what I can tell & will know better tomorrow when the extra links are out. Is a pretty watch & why i wanna enjoy it for awhile. Good price. Looks better in person too i think. Does have some weight without overly heavy since I dont like really heavy watches but just enough to not feel flimsy or cheep. Approve so far & recommend so far. UPDATE:: I went to a (pawn shop one) jeweler to take the links out thinking itd only be 4 @ the most cuz of my actual small wrists & this stating its for small wrists which was my main focus to buying it so I had the links taken out & he starts with 4 out since he thought so too & nope needed more & he tries 5 links nope still too big so he takes out 6 links (since you cant go much lower cuz it'll interfere with the clasp) & that ended up the norm for my size wrist. But for Pete sake 6 links? Only reason I can imagine is (the guy too) that they make this watch band way too long. B4 the links out it was completely hanging off my wrist & i was shocked. Cost me $11.00 to get it sized which isn't bad but i'm shocked it was 6 links. Live & learn. Just telling ppl so they wont be shocked too if they have a sm wrist thinking this really will work if you do have an actual sm wrist & only a few links to take out. Still recommend it & still like it & hope it holds out but @ least be honest ppl & say whats up with this band length ... show more

The watch was a a gift for a friend. She loves it. But as in other reviews the band is very large. I proceeded to take out 4 links but the tool broke on 2 so I had to order another tool. Just disappointed that my friend will not be able to wear it until I get a tool that I bought on Amazon. Hopefully it will be better than what came with the watch. Love the price reduction & my friend really loves the watch! Just frustrated about the band size. Also the instructions for the calendar are difficult so hopefully her son can set that up for her. Just hope any of what other negative reviews about keeping time don’t happen. I wanted the perfect gift for her. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else goes wrong! ... show more

Good watch. but the instrument that came with to remove pins to adjust the length of band broke on first try, was hard to get pin back in to watch band.

Beautiful piece of jewelry that occasionally keeps the correct time. I had it only a couple of months before it started loosing time. Past the return dated. I should have followed other people's advice.
