Beautiful rug. The background color is beige. So soft to walk on. Gave a low rating on cleaning because we haven't had to clean it yet so I don't know if it's easy to clean. The packaging is really good too. They roll up the carpet and then cover it with many layers. It's nearly impossible for it to be damaged in shipping. Really a great rug. We finally received our rug. Our first one, we were told was lost by DHL the carrier. When the second rug arrived this week almost a month to the date of ordering, we noticed a few things odd about it. It has two creases across the rug which we are not sure will work themselves out. There is what appears to be a small stain on one end which was surrounded by white (what looked like) dog hairs. We wondered if it is used. The color has a lot of orange as opposed to the red we expected, and the border is green rather than blue. When I look at the pattern, it is not quite the same as the picture though close. The size is correct and fits but that is its only endearing quality. We know we are stuck with it but disappointed overall. It is the Abbey rug. The colors are beautiful and not as bold as the pictures which is what I prefer but it sheds like crazy. purchased this to replace a jute rug that also shed but this one is worse. If you can stand the shed, it does seem to be an above average rug. Made well and higher quality than most for it's price. ... show more

Arrived much sooner than expected and was very well-packaged. Flawless. Beautiful, vibrant colors which are for the most part true to those depicted in the photographs I viewed using my iPhone. The red is really a rust color. Immediately laid flat. No shedding! I couldn’t be happier!

We have a house full off beautiful antique Persian rugs and some more modern hand woven rugs as well. We just needed a rug for a home office and we didn’t want to spend too much on it. This rug may be the thickest of all of the rugs we own. We were nervous that this appeared to be the same rug that others are selling for $700+...we were sure this was a knockoff, but it’s the exact same rug. This thing is super soft and plush.
