Beautiful rug. The background color is beige. So soft to walk on. Gave a low rating on cleaning because we haven't had to clean it yet so I don't know if it's easy to clean. The packaging is really good too. They roll up the carpet and then cover it with many layers. It's nearly impossible for it to be damaged in shipping. Really a great rug. Per photo of rug, it appears to have beige background or identical golden tones of the Pottery Barn Eva Persian style rug. While the pattern is the same, the colors are significantly different. Instead of beige/golden tones, the rug background is grey with more muted (drab?) accent colors. The quality of the rug is fine, but only buy this if your color scheme fits grey rug. ... show more

I've owned multiple PB rugs. I was worried this would be a knockoff, or a defective one that didn't meet PB's quality control, but that was not the case. It arrived thoroughly sealed and protected, and unrolled into a brand new, prefect rug that looks the exact same is if it came straight from the high end store. I had been eyeing this rug in the magazine for years, but could never bring myself to drop the couple grand on it.     • Color and quality may not be as expected

We finally received our rug. Our first one, we were told was lost by DHL the carrier. When the second rug arrived this week almost a month to the date of ordering, we noticed a few things odd about it. It has two creases across the rug which we are not sure will work themselves out. There is what appears to be a small stain on one end which was surrounded by white (what looked like) dog hairs. We wondered if it is used. The color has a lot of orange as opposed to the red we expected, and the border is green rather than blue. When I look at the pattern, it is not quite the same as the picture though close. The size is correct and fits but that is its only endearing quality. We know we are stuck with it but disappointed overall. It is the Abbey rug. Also, the company is USA rug but actually it was shipped from India. ... show more
