I have rosacea, so everything irritates my skin just about. My dermatologist recommended a face wash that didn't have soap in it - something gentle, in other words. I tried Cetaphil and didn't like it. I tried a cream cleanser that I can't remember the name of and *hated* it. Ugh, it just felt greasy to me. I liked Dr. Brandt's Pores No More cleanser, but it's hard to find and therefore very expensive now. On a whim, I tried Oil of Olay because my grandmother always used their products. It's a really nice face wash. The scent doesn't put me off like Neutrogena (the smell from their face wash had me gagging) does. I used Olay’s Gentle Foaming Cleanser religiously growing up so when I found it was discontinued, I was obviously upset and wasn’t sure if any other skin care product would work as well for my sensitive skin. I decided to try this version out and so far, I haven’t had any issues. No breakouts, seems to clean my skin well, and removes my makeup completely. I like Olay and have used other of its facial cleansers. I bought this one in a pack of 3. I like that it's gentle and it does do a good cleansing job. But it is hard to rinse off. It doesn't foam up a lot, like another cleanser I'd been using (maybe I'm not using enough). So it's hard to tell if I've gotten it all off. I have used this face wash for many, many years and have seen lots of packaging changes. But the product stays the same thank goodness! Tube is smaller, cost is higher, but that's life. It removes all makeup and leaves my old skin feeling clean and moist.
