    • The tongs and the brush are the worst parts, other than that is pretty good
If you use the tongs be prepare to have some tired hands has it takes so much force to close them. By the end of one BBQ I had hand cramps. (unless you like the workout and big forearms) The Brush is really hard to clean, even if you put it thru the dish washer be prepared to soak it before use again.     • Utensils are great, nice and sturdy. The case not so much.
In terms of a gift, I would not recommend this. When I opened the product, the case which holds all of the items had a hole about the size of a nickel in it. It was caused by the sharp edge of one of the utensils rubbing on the I side during storage, shipment, etc. So I would not want to gift this if that is what the recipient would see. That is also why I gave 3 stars for durability. I am sure now that over time the case will erode as many of the utensils are sharp. Now the utensils themselves are awesome. They hold up well to my family's constant grilling practices. We have used the skewers, tongs, spatula, salt and pepper shakers, meat thermometer, cleaning brush and corn cob holders a number of times and they are awesome and really hold up well. They are sturdy and well worth the price of the kit. If you are willing to accept a minor flaw in the carry case, and want to buy a quality grill utensil kit, this is the one I recommend. ... show more

The set is really nice for the price. All the utensils seem in good condition. Cleaning brush comes with an extra head which is nice. Also come with a salt and pepper shakers, meat thermometer, and skewers for kaboobs. It is a well rounded set. The glove it comes with is just a simple rubber glove. It's usable however I would not recommend using it often or with items that are too hot as it definitely won't hold up. Also the case it came in appears damaged. Alot of the straps inside the case had fallen off before I even opened it and there's some lose threading on the outside. Bottom line is do not buy this set for the glove or the case. Even if these 2 items were not part of the set everything else is still worth the money spent on this set. If the glove was a more heat resistant solid glove and the case was in new condition this would be a 5 star product. Got to go 4 for those 2 issues. ... show more

OK kit - some of it was very nice heavy duty quality and other parts of it were just OK! Use maybe 50% of the items. Some of it was maybe a bit unnecessary but it was the best I could find. The big utensils are great for grilling, though!!

I beat the hell out of these things, so I go through a set every two years or less and these are okay came with a lot of extras that I really didn't need my only complaint was the corn holders were a real pain in the butt to get into the corn they were like little knives not like pins on the common ones. ... show more
