This bathmat is very servicable and it has just enough substance to make it sturdy and safe underfoot but it isn't overwhelmingly thick. Your feet won't disappear into inches of fluff but there's just enough padding to make stepping out of the bath or shower comfortable. The rubber backing, while thin, is enough to keep the mat in place on cold, slippery tile floors. Upon arrival the rubber backing had (and still has) a large crease in it from the packaging that stubbornly won't smooth out but I'm hoping with time and use it will disappear. I haven't washed the mat yet so I don't know how well it will hold up in the machine - time will tell. I purchased the smallest size which is perfect for my bathroom and got it in brown. The brown shades are really lovely blended together and they go beautifully in my gold and brown Southwest themed bathroom. If you are looking for a very nice bathmat for a reasonable price you can't go wrong with this one.

Well, it looks like it is a lot higher price than I paid. Looks very rich on my floors. I have only had them a few days so have not cleaned them yet, but I am sure they will still look great. I really like them and wish I had order another for the other bathroom.

When I received the rugs, they had creases from folding in the packages. I washed them prior to using because I found that some bath rugs do not hold up well after washing. Not the case with these. They came out of the laundry looking great! Also, the rubber backing prevents slipping. However, I would recommend drying on a very low temperature or hanging to dry to prevent any damage to the rubber backing.
