I’m not a prolific review writer but I am a review hound when I’m looking for a new product. I have probably read hundreds of reviews of multiple different open earbuds over the last couple weeks. I was basically looking for noise canceling earbuds that don’t actually go in the ear. Which seemed like an impossible task. I decided to try these and I’m blown away! I only received them yesterday but I’m in love! Audio and music sounds crystal clear. It’s almost spooky how good it sounds. I mainly got these to listen to at work because wearing in-earbuds 8 hours a day has really been causing me ear problems. It was looking like I’d have to give up listening to anything at work without having to blast it on a speaker but I had to free my ear canals! I’m no audiophile so I won’t get too technical but I’ll tell you my real world experiences in noisy environments in detail so you get a sense of how good these are and some of the features I like. The info-mercial before times (you know, those scenes they film in black and white that show what life is like before the product? I know, a little dramatic but stay with me, I’m painting a scene 😂) - I’m a seamstress and I work on various noisy industrial sewing machines that have moderately noisy engines attached to them. I’d say the engine noise levels could be compared to a typical bathroom exhaust fan, if that makes sense, and the machine is, well, it’s a sewing machine. If you’ve never heard one, they can get quite loud especially if you’re sewing fast. Anyway, enough about sewing machines. 😂 The point is they’re noisy and I also have to be able to communicate with coworkers so I’d wear one bud at a time, only the right ear cause I have a tragus piercing in the left ear that gets irritated when I put buds in. I had to turn the in-ears up almost all the way and shove them in my ear to hear anything and they were always falling out because I have small ears (and because I dared to move/breath. Can you tell how annoyed I was getting? 😂). Over time this hasn’t been good for my hearing and is the cause of the constant ear infections I’ve had recently so I was desperately looking for something to provide good enough sound for me to hear the podcasts and music I listen to when I’m at work without going in my ear holes. The in-color after I bought this product times🤩: I read somewhere that these Oladance “buds” are like magic and they truly are! I tested them out last night listening to a video while washing dishes. Usually, I’d have to pause the in-ears cause the water drowned out the sound but these worked great. Of course, when you’re clanging pots together it does drown out the sound but that’s perfectly reasonable. The real test: So I wore them at work today and first of all, I’m able to wear them on both ears without affecting my piercing and with my glasses on and they are so comfortable. I almost forget they’re on and even when I shake my head they stay in place (never again will I have to disinfect an earbud cause it hopped out of my ear onto the floor 🙏🏾). Most importantly, I can hear my podcasts/music perfectly clear over my noisy work environment. I really didn’t think it would work but I was able to hear with the machines on, while sewing, and while talking to my manager and it doesn’t feel like my eardrums are being assaulted. In fact, I’ve been able to keep the volume at half and below and hear perfectly fine. There’s a bit of noise leak, especially with high hat sounds, when you turn the volume up all the way but that’s not a major issue for me. I don’t think I’ll have to turn the volume to max anyway. Music, of course doesn’t sound the same as noise canceling head phones but it sounds really good and not thin/tinny at all. There’s almost a feeling of bass. It’s truly amazing. There’s an app where you can change controls and EQ and see the battery levels on each bud. I also love that you can change the volume by sliding your finger on the “buds” themselves. Also the controls aren’t overly sensitive. They aren’t affected by my hair at all and my hair rubbing against them doesn’t cause that horrible rustling noise you get from in-ears. I do wish it came with a charger that could charge on its own instead of being plugged in. Seems kinda silly to pay $50 more for a case that can charge on its own but it’s really not a big deal cause the battery life is great. If I have any issues I’ll update this review but obviously I’m raving over these things so I’ll end this by saying if you’re looking for the things I was looking for I don’t think you’ll regret this purchase one bit. Buy them now!

*UPDATE* My original review was 3 stars due to a lack of charging case. Turns out the company is pretty cool and reached out and to attempted to explain. My complaint was never with the headphones but only with the fact that for $150, you only get a travel case and not a charging case which is explained if you read the description. Oladance could just sell these for $199, and include the charging case bringing them in the same price point as several other very expensive ear buds and honestly, I think they'd be worth the money. Instead, they sell these separately so it allows them to sell the ear buds cheaper than competitors but if you buy the charging case, it brings it in line with other ear buds. For the record, these are far more comfortable than any in the ear buds I have ever had. I can wear them all day and in fact, a couple times, I've laid down to bed and realized I was still wearing one. I also wear glasses and I do not have an issue with pressure but that may vary depending on what type of glasses you own. Recently I was on a plane and I will say on certain flights, they may not be loud enough depending on the location of the engines relative to the cabin. I was on 3 planes and when the engines are mounted next to the cabin, they were hard to hear but when the engines were mounted on the wings, I was able to hear them just fine. I also use them while at the gun range and they do not bother me under traditional hearing protection. I keep one on just so I know if I'm being called or texted. Obviously they do not work as hearing protection since they have no sound dampening ability what-so-ever by design. I'll leave the original post below so you can see my original thoughts but after the company reached out, I thought maybe I was a little harsh on the 3 star review since the earbuds really are very good quality. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ So, I guess it explains it in the product description that you only have about 16 hours of play time. I find this to be generally true. Maybe a little less. Also, these earbuds are great. The sound is excellent, they work really well for phone calls. They are incredibly comfortable and I find I can wear them all day. The only issue I have is the case. It is the perfect shape and fits into my pocket, but it doesn't charge the earbuds. Again, you know that if read carefully, but the charging case is another $50.00 and is probably too large to carry comfortably in my pocket. There are significantly cheaper ear buds that come with a charging case and have great sound quality as well. I got my wife a set that have the same shape for around $50.00, also on Amazon, that are obviously more cheaply made but they are still comfortable and have a charging case. The sound isn't as good and the ability to use them on phone calls is questionable but for $100.00 less, they have a charging case. Maybe these buds really are worth $150.00 on their own without a case that charges them, but I don't see a charging case being worth $50.00. They really should come with a charging case considering I can't think of any other ear bud that doesn't have a charging case. Either that or maybe $10.00 for a charging case. I do think its a shame that they change the shape of the case to add a charger but I guess that's because of the internal battery. Again, these are the most comfortable ear buds I've ever used and they really are excellent sounding and great for phone calls. I just have a hard time justifying the price tag when I have to charge them 2-3 times a week.
