TLDR: This fireplace and TV stand is beautiful, functional, and basic. I will absolutely update this review if anything changes. I live in the desert and we never turn our heat on, ever; however, my young girls sometimes get cold in the winter, especially after taking a shower and like to huddle around a space heater to warm up, so I've been looking for an upgrade to this, and I wanted to get it off season to save money if possible. I've been looking at either a media wall or a fireplace/tv stand. We did accidentally hit the heat button while testing the fireplace, and it got hot, quickly! I've seen reviews for other units where the fireplace needs to be sat on to feel any heat-- this definitely put out heat. For the price, this one can not be beat. The completed project is massive, solid, gorgeous, and has exactly the right bells and whistles. Be mindful, you can spend more money and get something from Costco for example, that may have a few upgrades. On the shipment and build: shipping was fast, but confusing-- I received emails from the seller with the shipping info via fedex, but the fedex app only showed 1 of the 2 shipments, unless I manually entered the number (that's a fedex issue, not the seller). The most difficult part of the setup is the 1st steps which involves assembling part of the drawer slides- read the directions 1st all the way through to see which pieces go where, and PAY attention to the illustrations showing where the screws go. HINT: you take the pieces out of the slide and save the single pieces for later. Everything after that was smooth except for about 4 pieces that did not have their labels affixed (but through logic were easy to deduce). The build requires space to sort everything, and I highly recommend an adjustable power screwdriver or drill. This will take time and patience. The glue provided is about 1/15th of what is required, so have some wood glue handy as well. I had 1 quality issue with a single drawer slide where the little ball bearings were sliding out and the metal was bent preventing me from assembling 1 drawer into the unit-- it required needle nose plyers to bend the track down and a few bearings are missing; however, the drawer is installed and works well after my fix. The unit is heavy and the whole thing is made of paneling and manufactured wood, so you'll need assistance moving it during the build as well as installing it without breaking it. If I were to do it again, I found a cheap $20 wood set from walmart I would add to the fireplace (the gap is very slim, so if you add fake wood, you need skinny fake pieces. However, the unit looks incredible even without the faux wood. My biggest criticisms are: 1. The drawer slides are finnicky. 2. Not enough glue. 3. The fireplace controls are tied to the cabinet lights, and are basic. To wrap this up-- I would say this unit is slightly better than the quality you would find with a good piece at IKEA. I was really impressed with the packaging, the correctness of the hardware set, and the accuracy of all the predrilling.

This fireplace TV stand is absolutely stunning. The assembly was a bit tedious because of all the small pieces, but the final result made it completely worth it. The color options, lighting, and ambience are beautiful, and the heater puts out a surprising amount of warmth-it’s truly functional, not just decorative. I’m so glad I chose this style over the barn-door designs; it fits my living room perfectly, exactly to the measurements. I use the heat feature daily and it hasn’t raised my electric bill at all. I love it more every day!

It took several hours, but the pieces were all there, labelled correctly, and everything went together perfectly. Excellent value for the money!

Made in China but so are half or more of the things in our lives in the US. Quality was quite a bit higher than expected. Assembly is a life event. Manufacturing wasn't quite right so we had to revise a little here and there. The drawers need quite a bit of coaxing to come to their final resting place. The real struggle was that the instructions were only pictures with somewhat minimal detail. Sometimes you need to turn a piece over and do something on the oppoosite side but it just lists 2 of that piece in the instructions. We muddled through it and in a mere 5hrs, it was up, running, and beautiful. Be aware that the two packages both weight a metric ton so either be young and fit, old and foolish, or just really good at lifting heavy stuff. Think: handtruck. Both happened to arrive on the same day. Don't even bother opening one till you get both. Overall, I would recommend the item because the end kinda justified the (arduous) means.

Perfect quality and all the settings are adjustable. You can make the lights as bright or dim as you would like. It heats up my entire home when it’s cold outside. It was a great purchase and worth the money because of the great quality. It’s fun to have multiple colors for the kiddos to pick and choose from too. I work from home so this is wonderful to have going all day if needed and doesn’t overheat. It has a safety shut off and an auto sensing for when the room is at the desired temperature and turn back on if the temperature drops. Honestly if you are on the fence between this and another product just go with this one. You can’t go wrong with this. Safe for kids and pets and has a wonderful storage space for remotes and plenty of room for decorations. Also, a monkey can build this. I built it no problem under 2 hours by myself which was so convenient!

My wife and I just got done putting this together. As most others have noted, it is a bit time consuming. It probably took us about 5 hours to assemble. The instructions for the console itself were very clear and easy to follow. The unit is also sturdy when completed. It's a good looking piece of furniture to add to your living space. The problem with the firebox is that they don't tell you how to insert the crystals behind the glass. Several people in these reviews have noted that very thing. However I couldn't find any reviews that explained how they solved their problem. It's actually very easy once you figure it out. But I'll save you the 20 minutes that it took me to figure it out. On the back of the frame that surrounds the glass there are 4 screws. 1 on the top and 1 on the bottom of the left side and the same thing for the right side. Just take out those 4 screws and that will separate the glass frame from the body of the firebox. Insert the crystals and re-attach the glass and frame and you're pretty much ready to insert the firebox into the console. As I said a nice, sturdy, well-made piece of furniture that we hope to enjoy for years to come. We spent a lot of time looking at different fireplaces and we are happy that we settled on this one.

I am mechanically inclined and own all the tools necessary to build a house. However, reading that other people completed the assembly of this product within 2 hours is not true. It's not about strength or ego, it's about time. The number of panels, pieces, and attachments, must be close to 300 items. Unloading the two very large boxes that weigh one hundred pounds each will take at least an hour! I was able to assemble the entire TV stand by myself, but it casually took me 2 hours per day for about 3 days. With that said, I have a perfectly constructed TV stand without a single scratch or crooked drawer, which is important to me. I have hardwood floors so I was able to benefit by sticking 1" round felt sliders along the bottom during assembly. This enables me to "easily" push a two-hundred-pound piece of furniture with ease. I strongly recommend a power screwdriver that limits the torque so you don't blow through the pre-drilled holes. Yes, all of the panels are made from weak, composite wood, but when fully assembled properly the item is nearly a bulletproof beast. The heater works so well that if you hold your hand up the the vent within 6 inches, you will have 3rd degree burns within 5-10 seconds! Very dangerous if you have young kids. Fortunately, there is a built-in thermostat and timer for the heater that you can control. The lighting feature is fantastic. You can separately change the color and height of the flame, independent of the fake crystal rocks and side cabinet shelves. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. If there is a downside, it's the amount of time and space needed to build this product.

This piece is absolutely beautiful and really elevates the space. The fireplace works great and adds a nice touch. However, assembly was very time-consuming—it took about 7 hours even with help—and the instructions were quite confusing. Unfortunately, the bottom drawers don’t function properly and don’t glide well on the tracks, despite following the directions carefully, so they’re more for appearance than use. Overall, it looks fantastic once it’s set up and I love how it turned out, but be prepared to spend a full day assembling it.
