This took 4 hours for me to put together by myself which is what I expected. My husband helped me bring it in the house because it was too heavy for me to carry. I had a brief scare because the end piece was cracked BUT how genius, they used to random pieces for packaging to protect it AND IT WORKED!! I followed the step by step instructions which got a little co fusing so I had to skip to the back to see how certain parts were supposed to face but all in all I am highly impressed and definitely can’t wait to get the matching furniture. I only wish the kitchen cabinet with the hutch wasnt so wide so it would fit in the small space that I need it to.(hint hint) :) i can’t find anything else that looks as good as that for my coffee bar ... show more

After looking for one of these for quite some time and reading review after review… and after a few bottles of liquid courage… I purchased this rustic tv stand with electric fireplace. Here’s my honest review. Ordering/delivery: I ordered it on a Sunday and received the fireplace on a Tuesday and the stand on a Thursday. Very quick turn around time. Fireplace box was well in tact. Tv stand box was very heavy but not impossible for one person and arrived with damage to one area. (See photos) Unpacking/overall look: It was packed very well despite the outside damage. Lots of protection. Each piece separated by styrofoam. Only one piece in the front of the unit has a spot that’s peeled (as this is not wood and can be easily scratched/peeled off so be careful). Color wise it’s exactly as pictured. Rustic. Mostly brown but has a greyish undertone. Putting it together: Give yourself plenty of room. It’s a good size unit. I unlocked the box where I’d brought it in. There are a lot of pieces but don’t let that intimidate you. It does take some time to put together but the instructions are very easy to follow, everything is well labeled and easily identifiable. All the hardware is well packaged and labeled. Everything was there but they even included spare pieces which was a nice touch. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and you’re set. I wouldn’t use any power tools on this thing. There’s no need and it could damage the unit as it is a bit touchy. I was very impressed and happy with how easy it was to put this thing together. All the holes lined up well. I didn’t have any issues whatsoever. For reference, I’m a 40 yo female and I put this together myself and did so in 3 hours… that’s with unpacking it, putting it together, setting it up and working on dinner and homework with the kiddo and I’d taken my time to do it properly so honestly not bad at all. Fireplace: I’ve not used it yet as far as the heat goes so I cannot honestly tell you the heat output at all at this time. It comes with a remote and you can use it without the heat. It makes it feel very homey and relaxing. Again, I’ve not used the heater aspect so I don’t know as far as any noise output either. Overall: I’m very happy I went with this one. It’s a very sturdy, heavy piece so though I did get it together by myself my son helped me move it into place so as not to damage it or my floor so I would definitely recommend a helping hand where placement is concerned. The doors are really cool. I love that they slide open and closed so you can either expose the fireplace and hide the shelves or expose the shelves and hide the fireplace or take the doors off altogether and have a view of both. The doors are very easy to remove/replace. While wood would have been preferred as I don’t know how well it’ll hold up over time, life things have become so expensive. I was replacing an old college looking tv stand and wanted something that was better suited to this massive tv, something that looks more grown up and homey, something sturdy and affordable. You never know how something will arrive to you and I was pretty nervous to get this but now that it’s here and together I’m very happy I took a chance on it. I have it 4 stars only because of the one peeled area and the box damage. I don’t often take the time to leave reviews but this one I thought might help another who’s not sure whether to give this unit a shot and I didn’t really see many reviews of this piece with the fireplace. I really hope this helps. I’m not affiliated in any way with the company. First I’ve even heard of the company so there was hesitation there for that reason as well. Just a girl who wanted a tv stand with a fireplace who drank a lot of wine one night and got the balls to order it. Hahaha So far, day one, I’m very happy with my purchase and look forward to movie nights with my wine and the fire. ... show more

We love it!! My handyman husband also glued as he put it together. It took 3 hrs 15 mins, 3 beers, and a steak, baked potato, & salads to assemble. One piece was cracked but the maker had to know where it was going so it didn’t matter. We are very happy.

What can I say…. Ours got beat up during shipping and was all scuffed up. We assembled it. Quality is there. Appears to be a nice unit overall. And I would recommend as long as it arrives undismayed. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix the cosmetic damage. It’s not real wood and therefore can not be refinished. So we ended up going with something else but I did like the size and design of this one. 5 starts because it was not the manufactures fault ... show more

Love the look of this piece! It’s clearly not a high quality stand however I still love it. It gives a nice farmhouse feel! I would def recommend this to my friends and family. It did however take a good three hours for my husband to put together. I need the matching coffee table now! 😀

Instructions are clear but be prepared to take some significant time to put it together. Instructions specifically state not to use power tools. Front floor trim piece was cracked. I was able to repair it without taking away from the looks of the unit. Unit weights roughly a 100 lbs. They don’t give enough glue so have some wood glue handy. Easy to assemble and a gorgeous piece of furniture. I have been looking for a few years trying to find the right TV stand. This was it. I am so happy with this purchase and the sturdiness of the product. It doesn't feel or look cheap. When putting it together, I accidentally dropped my screw driver on the wood (point down) and not a single dent or damage appeared. I thought for sure I'd see a dent.
