This is how the box was received today. Very dirty, dusty, and torn missing corner of box that was just taped over with exposed Styrofoam packing. Backside had a tear in the box too. Package was delivered by FedEx and it wasn't clear if that's how the box shipped or Fed Ex fixing it. UPDATE: I wrote a 3 star review initially to document the shipping issues but now that I've had time to assemble and see the finished product I'm happy to change it to 5 stars. The end product looks just as pictured and I was able to assemble it solo. No broken parts, no missing parts, and in fact it came with a bag of spare parts just in case anything was missing in the parts bag. Good thing too because I overtightened one of the cams and it broke, so having a replacement was helpful. Stickers to cover any exposed cams are great, match the grain fantastic and once pressed down they practically disappear and don't stand out at all. Holds my 65" TV great with room to spare.     • Beautiful BUT not the easiest build
So first, I'm a woman, 66 years old and I built this console myself for our new 65" TV, except for lifting the top on or holding up sides when necessary. It wasn't a difficult build in terms of figuring things out, but there are a lot of pieces so allow yourself plenty of time and take a deep breath before plunging ahead. Also, this uses the "cam" system for assembly. If you've put together Home Depot off the shelf cabinets, you might know what I'm talking about. There's a funny shaped thing that another "bolt" fits into, then you turn the cam thing with a philips screwdriver to tighten. It's not hard at all. All the parts fit perfect into each other, and the hardware fits too - no weird threading issues on the screws and parts are drilled out properly. When it's complete, you would never ever know that this didn't come assembled. The top is a tiny bit of a different color than I thought. It looked like it was a warmer color, but it's more on the ashy side. Still very nice though. All in all, this piece is a WIN! It's very nice quality, very sturdy, is the perfect antique white color to match my other furniture, and really looks beautiful! ... show more

My amazing son-in-law stopped in to build it for me. Took him about 45 minutes from unpacking to putting my TV on it. Currently have my 65" on the stand and it looks great! Am thinking of getting a 70" or 75" now. I was pleasantly surprised that the fireplace puts out quite a bit of heat!!! Love it! And I love that I can have the fireplace on without heat. Looks really nice when watching TV with the lights off. I love the barn door style of sliding sideways to open. They roll smooth and quiet. I highly recommend getting this TV stand. It’s good quality. One of the leg pieces came chipped but we fixed it with wood glue. We also had to add a spacer under one of the legs for it to sit level. Comes with a mounting kit which we will be using. It’s the right amount of modern and farm house to make an area look expensive!

This was purchased for a xmas gift but originally purchased dark walnut. That color looked like the 80s trailer house wall panelling. That went back. We purchased this one in its place. The texture looks top notch. Be careful though during assembly with the four vertical pieces with the front trim in the beginning. I can't typically build things without instructions but I followed these because there was glue involved. The picture shows the correct way but then down in the correct it shows installing the trim pieces (that get glued) the other way. I went a few more steps and felt something didn't look right. I skipped ahead a few pages and looked at the finished product with how the smooth outside trim looked and knew it was wrong. I looked at the pages a few times and couldn't believe they were laying like they were. All four were backwards. I took the trim back off quick and turned them around. After that it went pretty smooth. This is well constructed for being particle board in my option. I will try and update this review with the incorrect pages in the manual so people know. The last thing that could be overlooked is the middle legs. These need to be adjusted to hold the weight or I'm sure over time the whole unit will sag in the middle. I plan to adjust the legs once it's moved into place. ... show more

First time buying furniture off Amazon and this TV stand did not disappoint! Needed an upgrade from a cheaper stand and went with this one. The color was perfect and matches the rest of our furniture. I love the farmhouse style look! I didn’t want to wait for Hubby so I assembled it myself. Took about 2 hours, but I didn’t mind, I love building stuff. The instructions were not hard to follow. No pieces were missing and nothing was damaged (thank goodness lol). The materials don’t seem cheap, definitely better than what we previously had. I think this tv stand will last awhile. The package arrived 3 days early to which was a plus! Super happy with this and will definitely purchase again if need be! ... show more
