  • I WANT TO LIKE IT MORE THAN I DO. NOT UNHAPPY JUST NOT HAPPY
Color: Black
I’ve actually had 2 apple MagSafe batteries and both had to be replaced as they weren’t holding juice. And even the first few times I used them, they just didn’t seem to have the amount of juice as indicated. Got those when I had the 12 Pro Max. Just got the 13 mini. Love the size. Hate the battery. The 13 mini will not take you through the day without an external battery in tow. I’m usually at 20% halfway through my day. Mostly through text and calling. Most MagSafe batteries will fit the 13 mini, with one big trade-off: they tend to either slightly cover or affect any pictures you take. Most batteries were really made for the standard size or max size. I get it. I started my journey with 3 requirements: 1. Size, 2. Weight, and 3. How close to they came to the 15W output of Apple’s model. 4. Really not a requirement but had to mention that I was realistic with my expectations about how much charge I would get as some reviews complained about that. I bought this so that at 2pm if my phone battery was down to 15-20%, I could get it back in the 90% range to last me the rest of the day. People should understand that you don’t buy this battery to do things only 10,000mah batteries can do. Number 3 was least important to me as it became obvious that one of the trade-off’s is that the smaller they get, the less output you get which creates a much slower experience when trying to get more juice asap. I believe this unit is 7.5w. If I’m wrong, maybe 5w, but either way, it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. No, it wasn’t a fast charge. But it wasn’t excruciating as I expected it to be. Especially when I was eating lunch for example and stay off my phone for 30-45. Size and weight: 1. I couldn’t believe it. It ways 2.8 ounces. Literally feels like nothing in my hand. It actually lends to my grip with such a small phone. And it doesn’t effect camera usage at all. Nice! It’s also very thin. I haven’t seen many external batteries this thin, and not a one that is MagSafe compatible. They also make an 8000mh version. Yeah a bit thicker/bigger, but still under 5 ounces. Yeah, a little more expensive than some of the others, but not much and your first reaction when opening the box won’t be the same. 2. MagSafe: This time around I didn’t buy a 3rd party MagSafe case. They were never perfect in my opinion, and figured with a new phone, and Black Friday sales, I bought the Apple leather MagSafe case. Which from reading would assure that any MagSafe compatible accessories will have a nice hold tight. 2 of my friends that have the same battery have had a better experience than I have, but the hold feels more robust at times, and much less so other times during the day. It’s annoying. Annoying that I’ve dropped the battery a few times in the first week I’ve owned it. The positive is it still works, but in my mind, something inside had to be effected or perhaps I shortened the life of the unit. Now that it’s in my mind, I don’t use as much for fear of it randomly separating from my phone due to weak and/or defective magnet on the unit I purchased. Yesterday, I also purchased Apple’s Silicone MagSafe case for the mini 13. Wanted to see if I liked the feel. But it also gave me the opportunity of seeing if maybe my leather case was defective. It was not. The battery Dr-attached 2 times in one day. Unacceptable. I now only use the battery at home when I’m lounging around. Afraid to travel around with it out of fear of breaking the battery altogether. So for me, I can’t use it for its intended purpose. Which is my reasoning in giving it 3 stars. I wanted to give it 4, even with this issue, but it’s too big of an issue to do so with. LED light with “OISLE” on the back: While this didn’t effect my review, I found it to be quite annoying. Clever for sure. Really not a big deal when it’s light outside, but in a dark environment, it’s annoying to me as it is to those that are around me. And when in bed, it lights up my bedroom. Annoying. Wish they would have put their logo discreetly on the same side but lower and muted. Or wish they would have allowed me to dim the brightness. Or best yet, have a very small indicator pinhole that changes colors. Would serve the same purpose but be easier on the eyes. Sorry for the long review. I wanted to be candid. I haven’t reached out to the manufacturer as of yet. I hope they handle the “magnet” issue I’m having. If not for that issue and perhaps the annoying lights (again, didn’t effect my rating), they would have a serious home run on their hands. ... show more

  • Not a bad substitute for a MagSafe pack, has some faults
Color: Black
The battery arrived as promised, it charges my iPhone 12 mini from about 10% to about 80% (again, this was to be expected). It does NOT have wireless charging of the battery pack (it will wirelessly charge the phone, but it itself can't be wirelessly charged). And the "white ring" that makes it look like it's MagSafe - well the adhesive didn't look like it was applied properly, and the "ring" slid around until it got to the edge of the pack and fell off. The battery will work without the ring, but it scratches the back of the phone. I contacted the seller and was told that "the ring isn't needed for charging - and it's not - but now I have a sticky battery where the ring was but the adhesive couldn't be removed, and I have a scratched iPhone 12 mini. (Again I did contact the manufacturer and ask to send this pack back to have it replaced with a properly adhered one - but the manufacturer simply told me it wasn't necessary). My advice: wait until Apple releases their own pack, find another "bigger brand" pack - like a Belkin one, or skip the pack altogether. If I had to do over, I would not have purchased this pack now that I know what I do. Update: the manufacturer contacted me and asked to send me a new product with two rings in the package. I agreed to try the replacement; and was told it will be sent when the packaging process is updated. I was asked to change my review - and I will update accordingly - but only after I’ve received the new item and verify it works correctly. Update 2: The manufacturer sent me a "new and improved" product. This version appears to be the same - but there is a sticker sheet with two additional "ring pads" that can be placed on the back of the battery should the original fall off. The issue, though, is that my original concern wasn't addressed. Attaching the battery to the phone (with the ring pad on it) causes the ring pad to move, and fall off rather quickly when the phone + battery is kept in ones pocket. Sure, I can remove the falling off ring, and then apply another, but that still doesn't fix my original concern. I commend the manufacturer for their quick response, and I'm sure just removing the pad and attaching it to a mag safe case (like the Apple leather case or Apple silicone case) will help prevent the scratching of the phone, but my original experience remains: the ring pad still falls off, and using the battery directly with the phone still causes scratching to the back of the phone. ... show more

  • Able to travel with the power bank at full charge and still get through the whole day.
Color: Black
Able to work at home with plenty of juice left over from the power bank so that my AirPods have plenty of juice on the go.

  • Works with iPhone SE 2020 + Magbak Case
Color: Black
It works with iPhone SE 2020 in a MagBak case, and will charge the phone wirelessly. (The MagBak case is essential, since iPhone SE does not include MagSafe support, and does not have built-in alignment magnets) On the plus side, the battery pack is compact; the multi-color LED signage provides good feedback of charging state; and it comes with 2 separate cables, USB C-USB C and USB C-lightning (so a great value). The magnet in the battery pack is strong enough to stay in position even if you pick up and hold the phone and shake it with moderate force vertically; however, it’s not strong enough to hold the phone if you grab the battery pack and shake it (e.g., good enough, but don’t expect a miracle). ... show more

  • Okay...
Color: Black
I got this for while traveling and it works well for making sure your phone doesn't die that day when out and about. However, after a month, the LED indicator stopped working, so now I have no idea on the status of its battery.

  • Compact design and tactilely pleasing
Color: White
This is the second, non-Apple MagSafe battery product that I've purchased. The first one (different product from a different seller) was way too bulky and made holding my iPhone 12 Pro feel a bit awkward. When selecting that one, I just went by the misleading photos on the product page that made it look way thinner than it was. The second time around when I ordered this Oisle one, I made sure to look at the dimensions. This one is around 10cm and just a hair thicker than my iPhone. PERFECT size with a pretty sleek design. The LED logo that indicates how much power is left to be drawn from the battery is a nice touch, but the "feel" of its outer shell is what I like most about it. It feels solid but also silky, or maybe a bit rubbery like a giant pencil eraser. ... show more
