I bought this paint to paint a fiberglass statue, I thought it was oil based paint, it is not. It’s OIL a paint. It’s like grease with color pigment used for canvas paintings only. It didn’t dry for 5 days so I wiped off 4 hrs of painting, and bought latex paint. My mistake for not knowing the difference in paint types and nomenclature. ... show more

The most comprehensive oil paint kit I have ever used. Surprisingly, these were inexpensive for such good quality. I have used other oils before and could never get them for anything less than $50 and even the tubes were of poor quality too. These are superior quality, superior tubes too, no holes from air or drying out, they don't leak either. And, the added benefit, the outside cap has a nice little pin that's built-in to poke the tube for easy access. With the kids being out of school now I wanted them to start doing some activities that don’t involve electronics. My 12 year old daughter loves doing arts and crafts and loved it when this was delivered. She is no artist but has enjoyed using these. Her favorite project has been painting inside a large box, making it into reading nook. I will say the paints worked well on the cardboard. There are a ton of colors that come with this product, and in fact I have already used this product to copy some of the colors from a different paint set that I had. The only thing wrong with it would have been when I got the package the outside of the paint box had a bit of damage, but as the paint itself wasn't damaged and in perfect condition so overall, a so far good product and I would be willing to get it again should the need arise. ... show more

This set is alright. I’ve used a lot better quality oils. It does have a great range of colors with I love. Some aren’t so thick and go on kind of translucent and because sticky. Also it’s hard to get a lot of texture out of the paints unless you use the whole tub. They tend to crumble a bit when blending. Good for someone starting off or small projects or just to play around with. They act like acrylics but dry like oils so if your looking for something better quality or closer to oils do not buy this set. ... show more
