Unlike most people who use these to cover chairs, I use them to cover big, yellow polyethlyene, industrial, step stools with 500 pound weight capacities. When stacked, the step stools are somewhat similar in dimensions to patio chairs and this larger size cover fits nicely over a nested stack of three of them, protecting them from UV degradation when they are outdoors in the sunshine. Since the step stools don't have legs to which to attach the straps, I'm going to make some PVC rectangles sized for the bottom dimensions of the cover, and the straps will stay attached to them. If I'm feeling really energetic, I might fill them with sand before gluing the last elbow, thus providing a weighted frame to keep the covers in place even during severe storms. There's no reason that couldn't be done for use over chair,s to, possibly making the covers less fiddly to install and remove. These are very nice quality, well-made, and look like they should last for many years. The black color is much less obtrusive than the bright yellow stools being covered, but I'd rather have these in some sort of green to make them stand out less against the lawn and to keep the sun from turning the underside into a hothouse. My advice: Don't restrict yourself to only using these on chairs. There are many possible uses including those industrial stools and center consoles of boats, just to mention a couple of the uses. Note: I bought two "brands" of these and they were absolutely, 100% identical save for the brand name at the top of the otherwise identical labels. So don't beat yourself up trying to figure out which to order. These are fine and so is the other. These came in a pair. The other ones were sold singly. No other differences.

I can’t imagine a better cover for these chairs. I love the ease at which these covers go on and come off of the chairs. I really like the durability of them while not being heavy and stiff. Maybe these chairs will last another 30 years now. Explaining my rating system: 5 – Exceeded Expectations – Highly recommend product. 4 – Average to Above Average – At least what you would expect based on the Product Page. Maybe a bit more. A solid product. Recommended. 3 – Average to Below Average – A bit less than what you would expect based on the Product Page. Left feeling somewhat disappointed. Maybe you’ll feel differently but I cannot fully stand behind the product. 2 – Below Average – Incorrect, missing, or misleading information on the product page. Low quality or questionable safety issues. Not recommended. 1 – Junk – A complete misrepresentation of the product advertised, severe quality or safety issues. Avoid at all costs.
