I have a highly traumatized foster dog in my care. I can't touch his paws so I can't wipe him down after potty time. My place was a muddy mess! Then I found this mat. He instantly loved it and would walk in a circle after coming inside. Then I noticed him relaxing and even sleeping on it. I bought a second one just to move around the house so he'd be comfortable. He chooses this over 4 alternate beds and even the couch. It really is a nice rug. Soft, easy to wash, and seems to absorb whatever you drag across it. This doormat is nice & thick. I have a big doodle with big paws. This helps keep the dirt out. It stays in place; I didn’t need a rug pad or anything. I use my vacuum on it with no problems. I liked it so much I bought one for the front door.

I have bought dozens of floor mats for my various doors but I needed something for my dogs so they didn't track water/mud into the house - THIS IS IT! This mat doesn't move an inch - whether from the dogs running, rolling, or scratching on it or the Roomba running over it - I have never had a mat that stayed in place until I found this one. If you have issues with your mats moving around - try this one - I have it on laminate flooring and it works wonderfully! It also stays pretty fluffy and soft to walk on without washing it frequently. This is definitely worth it!

Stays put on hardwood floor, no sliding like some other entrance mats. My puppers was using it as a potty pad and it kept the hardwood floor protected! Thankfully she is now trained. I would suggest Washing it by itself cause the wash water gets pretty gnarly sometimes. It keeps a lot of mud/dirt out of the house. Paw print is cute too.
