Got this greenhouse for my spring seed starters a few weeks ago and was surprised by how well it survived 65 mph winds! It took less then 30 min to set it up, but required some DIY upgrades to keep it stable. I had to put some scrap plywood on the bottom with some cement blocks to keep it down + tied some large cement blocks on each outer bottom corner to keep the structure grounded during strong winds. It keeps warmth well, and is the most basic medium-sized greenhouse for plant starters. It does the job well, and I’m happy with the purchase. Update: got a second one ordered, and now I have them standing back to back for extra stability!

Received this a couple of days ago and put it together today. Any reviews that state that it is difficult to put together are just wrong. I put the whole thing together in about 20-30 minutes; once you figure out the system of how it goes together, it is super simple. No problem with it fitting together or burrs as mentioned elsewhere. A few sections needed to be tapped together, but it was no problem. It is pretty sturdy when assembled, but if you live in an area with high winds, I would suggest taking an extra hour or so to do what I do with these small greenhouses: add screws. I take the extra time to drill all critical joints and add self-tapping screws. I guarantee it isn’t going to come apart in all but the worst possible scenario. I also purchased 12” rebar U-hooks and drove them in over the bottom tubes at the corners. That may seem like a lot of extra work, but it only takes an extra hour or so of your time and a few extra dollars. It is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. The cover for this greenhouse seems very rugged and well-suited to this application. My only complaint is the closures for the windows. It appeared in the pictures that it sealed around the seam of the windows all the way around, but in reality it is only two small tabs at the bottom of the window, and they aren’t aligned very well. You will definitely lose heat through the windows with the stock setup. I plan to add additional velcro to seal them up better. You may also want to add zip ties to hold the shelves in place. Heavy pots may cause them to be pushed to their limits. Overall, a very sturdy, lightweight greenhouse. Anchor it well and it should stay put and hold up to most weather. Take a few extra steps and it should hold up to all but the absolute worst weather.

I have been using this item for a little over a month now I think and it has held up very well. Just last week it faced 100mph wind and stayed strong. Now, I do have it on the side of the house so it didn’t get hit by the full wind, but it still got a little shook. I had placed 2 bags of dirt on the bottom of either side of the cover to hold it down. Having 4 full bags of dirt on it, it didn’t even budge. I don’t really mind the light shelves since my pots hold them down either. They are definitely nice since my pots have to drain and I don’t have enough saucers yet. I will say that it is a little tricky to get it warmer inside than it is outside. I also can’t seem to get the humidity level up. As much as I love the windows, I’m not sure they’re all that great. They only have a piece of Velcro holding down either of the bottom corners on both sides, allowing for air flow no matter what. This worries me as we are starting to get into the cooler portion of the year. I purchased this so that my plants will make it through the winter, and I’m not sure that they will. It was very easy to assemble. It did take a little creativity on my part since I am short and I did it by myself. But it was manageable. Overall, I so far love this item and am eager to see how it does over the test of time. I may need to purchase a grow light to go inside for the winter, but I’ll figure it out when I get there. Edit: 10/30/20 I purchased a small space heater to go inside and the greenhouse surprisingly holds the heat rather well. The heater is set to only come on when it goes below 78 degrees and it doesn’t actually have to turn on too often. Seriously awesome greenhouse. I have also noticed that bugs don’t really come in but if a fly comes in, it has a hard time finding its way out. 10/10 would recommend.

Size was good for me, zippers fine, lightweight, not very sturdy but the tie downs helped . It gets very hot inside so the windows really help....the shelves are not at all good for holding anything, but I use light weight boards and that works for me. This is the second year I've had it. I put it away in the harsh MN. weather. This year I put it on my deck

UPDATE: (original review below this update) it’s been about a year since I purchased this green house. I did make some adjustments to the original greenhouse last year. I added some shelves and also adhered it to my fence for more stability. I honestly wasn’t sure how it was going to hold up in the winter months. I’m happy to say it’s still holding strong! I’ve already started my plants for this year! If you don’t mind putting a little extra time and effort into making it more stable it should last a good while. I also added 3 more photos to my review just so you can see what it looks like now! I highly recommend this greenhouse especially for beginners. LOVE IT! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I attached some photos of my greenhouse to this review but please be aware that I did make alterations to my greenhouse. The shelves that came with it were a bit flimsy so I upgraded them and put in some wood shelves. They held on perfectly to the frame. I couldn’t be any happier with this product! It’s truly helped my seedlings flourish! As said previously it is a bit flimsy so you’ll likely need to make alterations in order to keep it sturdy. Overall still a great product for the price! I’m very satisfied with my purchase!
