I tried these for the first time last month before a major event where I would be demoing my product and need my hands to look nice and photo/video worthy. My first time doing them took about 30 minutes and I realized some ways that I could improve. On my second set I got a near perfect application. My only complaint is that my ring and middle finger nails are actually the same size and I would benefit from an extra set of the size three in from the largest size. If there were extras I could actually get two full sets out of the kit! I'm saving all the leftovers to make my own mix and match sets later but being able to buy extras of one size would be amazing! For now I'm just thrilled to find a manicure that lasts, that I can do from home, and that doesn't cost a fortune. And this color (fig jam) is perfect! It's like the best jelly shade with just enough ombre that you don't have to worry about the whites of your nails are perfectly even. Definitely buying again! Things I've learned: Work slowly and don't be afraid to pull back and switch nails before curing for the perfect fit. The strips are pliable so I use the little wooden stick to roll the edges out or down towards the cuticle just a bit to get the perfect fit. Rolling and pressing to stretch and promptly curing works great! Work slowly with the drops when removing so you don't accidentally peel off layers of your nail. Oops! TL;DR: Amazing product. Doesn't take long to perfect. Easily lasts me 10-14 days and I don't have to spend time in a salon!

I love the Ohora gel nail strips. When I started using these about two months ago, I stuck to soft colors close to my natural nail color because I wanted to perfect the application before going bold. It didn't take long. By the third time I used the gel strips, I had the hang of how to apply them and get professional results. These pretty heart gel strips have a 3D effect and look so cool as I move my nail around. I was out to lunch with a friend, and she grabbed my hand and asked where I found a nail tech who could create such a cool effect, because she wanted to have it done on her nails. When I told her about the gel strips, she was amazed that they looked so amazing, and had me send her the link to buy them. She got them for her and her daughters. One more thing to note is that these gel strips stay put until I decide to remove and replace them when my nail gets too long. They are easy to remove and replace, and they keep my natural nails looking strong and healthy. Highly recommended.

The gel nails by Oharo are very nice. Few things I took away after doing nails for the first time. Not enough choice in nail sizes (not quantity), only one day of wear edges bent and last really need to make the gel nail same length as your own. If you want nail to appear longer in my opinion gel is not strong or hard enough. I also purchased the clear coat which I thought would make the nail stronger did not the clear coat cracked. Again my first time using so maybe need to practice more to get the right balance and look.

I have been doing my own nails since I was in elementary school, but I am no expert. I am however, very proficient at painting them and giving myself a home manicure. I have tried all the polishes, dips, gels, and nail stickers. But I had not tried these gel nail strips. The problem I had in the past with nail stickers was getting them off-it caused peeling pretty bad for me. So when I ran across these gel nail strips, and their brand's strip remover (that I also purchased) I was interested in trying them. This red is to die-for. It's perfect with my soft autumn skin tone and stayed bright and beautiful the entire week wore these. I sit at a desk and type all day, and I am careful to wear gloves at my house when I am doing the dishes. This week coincided with Thanksgiving so I actually had my hands and nails in water all day one day and they did great. Saturday though-normal housework chipped a few edges for me. That was fine though, I had wanted to change them on Sunday anyway. These strips went on well, very smooth and stretchy. Not too thick and they really stayed stuck. I used the UV light for 60 sec to get them to harden and it was perfect. Easy to file once they hardened. These covered up imperfections in my nails and also seemed to make them stronger. At one point I was sure I had broken one I hit it so hard but when I glanced at it, it was fine. Stronger, protected. These gel strips came off easily with no damage when I used Ohora's strip remover. I followed the directions and they came right off. I really like changing my nails every weekend. So buying a new set each week isn't really in my budget. But sprinkled in along with some normal already purchased polish, I can do that for sure. I think this is one of many colors I will wear on my hands from Ohora. Overall, I'm very pleased.

These typically last me a week through repeated hand washing, dishes, laundry etc. I also love the fact that I don’t have time to wait for traditional nail polish to dry. I can apply and set these strips within 10 minutes and head out the door.
