  • Great riding backpack. Great riding backpack.
Style: Mach 5
The OGIO No Drag Mach 5 is easily one of the best motorcycle backpacks I’ve used. The aerodynamic design really does make a difference — it doesn’t feel like it’s dragging or catching wind the way regular backpacks do, even at higher speeds or on windy days. That alone already puts it a step above most riding packs. The storage layout is excellent too. I can fit my riding boots, laptop, tire repair kit, and a portable tire inflator without any issue. The pockets are well-thought-out and make it easy to keep everything organized instead of having to dig around for gear. The chest buckle is another feature I really appreciate — it keeps the pack secure and stable while riding, so there’s no shifting around or discomfort. Overall, the Mach 5 offers great capacity, smart design, and real on-road comfort. Definitely worth it for anyone who rides and needs a reliable, aerodynamic backpack. ... show more

  • Great backpack for Anyone riding while going to work and school Great backpack for Anyone riding while going to work and school
Style: Mach 5
I own a 16 inch laptop technically it’s 16.2 inches with a leather case. my laptop is MacBook M3 Pro Max 16 inch. This backpack says it can only do 15 inches but honestly it slid in perfectly anyway not tight at all just perfect even with leather laptop case. I even have my iPad Pro 12.9 inch in the photo . This backpack is comfortable I am able to fit these devices and my A7rv Sony camera that has a battery grip and cage. I am using one of the shoe holders inside to hold my sealed coffee container. This is honestly a good bag , and while at first I thought it would look too unique it actually looks pretty normal so thankfully not giving attention to random people. Really great buy . The laptop still looks it could give a bit more room up to 17 inch laptop but be aware anything past 16.5 inch would probably make it tight but it will fit ... show more

  • Awesome!
This is an expensive backpack. After purchasing this backpack and using it through out the summer, and then in the rainy fall, I can honestly say that this backpack is a great value. I do not have difficulties with the waist strap, but I can see how if you were bigger in the middle, it would not fit around you. I spent most of the summer driving around on my motorcycle, and thus practically lived out of this bag. It seemed to be the perfect size to fit all my overnight supplies and a change or two of clothes with a pair of shoes. Three words to describe this pack: awesome, amazing, superb Updated Review: I have been using this bag for over two years now nearly every time I've ridden my bike. I have ridden about 10k miles with this bag on my back, and I can say that I rarely notice that it is even there. The helmet strap is convenient, and the space is adequate for an overnighter or two. This is still an expensive backpack, but the value is incredible. Wear and tear: After over two years the only signs of wear on the bag is some wear on the reflective piping on the back, and the hard to clean bug guts on the front straps. (I could probably get them clean if I put in a little more effort.) Update: I’ve been using this back pack nearly every time I’ve ridden for the past 5 years. It still works exactly like the first day. The “suede” fabric has started to flake and the retro reflecting piping is worn, but this doesn’t affect the functionality of the bag. The rubber shell looks as good as the day I bought it. I recommend this bag to anyone who needs something to store items while riding a motorcycle. The price is completely justified with the functionality and quality of craftsmanship. ... show more

  • Great bag but its good for all riding situations
Style: Mach 5
The bag is great! The quality is really good. It fits everything I need but once its on my back, thats where it really shows its limitations. If you’re going to use it to ride to work or hangout with a few things then its good. I packed it with my lunch bag and two bottles of water and put everything i would need in to the pockets. It expanded and then I put it on my back and it was a little difficult to really synch in everything. Especially the belt with the pouch. That was the hardest part and the clip is in a difficult spot to reach. The pouch also only fits small phones or devices like the size of an Iphone 8. Once everything was fitted and tightened up, it felt great. Very little to no drag from it. The jackets you where will also make it difficult to put on. Especially the leather ones. I like it a lot but I have to give myself an extra 10 minutes to get it fitted right, before I get on my bike. Its not a deal breaker but if you’re use to a bag that is a hug size, then this might be too small for you. ... show more

  • Comfortable, Good Quality, Plenty of Room Comfortable, Good Quality, Plenty of Room
Style: Mach 3
I bought it so I could bring my computer with me to work. But so far I have only used on weekends for light duty. First thing I noticed is how comfortable it is. A couple of times as I was riding I thought it might have fallen off. That’s how comfortable it is. I have a smaller OGIO version which I can definitely feel all the time. There’s enough space and amount of room compares favorably to standard backpack without rigid shell. I think it looks good with its semi blacked out style. I have two other motorcycle geared backpacks but this one is definitely my new favorite. Mainly due to comfort and turtle like rigid shell and style. ... show more

  • great pack, outside can get scratches easily
Was going to buy a cheaper pack for myself during Christmas time when a family member said they would buy me one so I chose this one. I had seen the mach 1 in a store and liked it a lot, except it looked kind of small. Reading up, i found that as the "mach" numbers go up, so does the size. So i figured I'd give the mach 3 a try (at the time, the mach 5 was out of my budget and i have a dual visor helmet so I don't need the visor storage or a couple of other things). At first when I got the pack it seemed like it was a good size, but then I started thinking about all the stuff I would want to carry and then I was thinking it was to small. But I must say that after a month of continuous usage, it is not to small. I can go to the gym and pack my gym stuff in it and then go to the store and get a gallon of water and a couple other small things and they all fit comfortably. This backpack disperses weight very evenly and the padding is extremely comfortable. Most of the time I forget its even there. Everything is great about this pack. My other backpack I was using for school got messed up so for the past 2 weeks I have been using this everyday for school and riding and it is great. Does not move around my back what so ever. I've taken it up to 140mph with no distractions from it moving around. The only downside I can think of for this pack is the outer coating. It takes a little bit of getting used to having something stick out of your back all the time and one time I turned and scraped the point of it on a wall and it took off some of the coating. The material underneath is black as well so it is not noticeable unless you look for it. The black has kinda been rubbed off of the "chords" that run down the back of where the material changes, but that isn't to bad. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone! I get compliments on it and people asking where I got it everyday. As for the waterproof thing. If you drop it in a lake, no bueno. Your stuff will not survive. If you are riding in a downpour, your stuff will be ok. The outer shell is waterproof but the part that touches your back is by no means waterproof or resistant. ... show more

  • Daily rider. Barely notice it’s there.
Style: Mach 5
This bag is definitely a quality of life improvement. My main reason for purchasing was for the visor pocket since the sun sets earlier in the winter and having the clear visor handy is great. It’s bigger than expected and is quite comfortable when riding. Once you fill it up the inner part does press against the back a little bit it’s not terrible. The hard shell withstood the rain well. The quick release on the left strap is great when removing the bag since other backpacks usually catch my jacket with the strap. The helmet leash is a suede/alcantara type of fabric so I’m not worried about it scratching the helmet at all. Overall the bag’s not perfect, but it’s much better than anything else I’ve tried. ... show more

  • Perfect for the everyday rider
Absolutely LOVE the look. Just as I assumed, the look of the matte finish is much more appealing than the carbon fiber plastic look of the Mach 5. Also, the package may scratch easily, but a damp cloth seems to do the trick of erasing any unsightly scratches. The pack will sit up straight when set straight down. I was under the impressions from previous reviews that it'd simply roll over on its side (which it does not). I usually keep it packed with an iPad, water bottle, 2-3 changes of clothing and MAYBE a laptop, and the backpack carries it with no issues. The straps seem to bare the weight with little to no issues, I am confident that this pack will survive at least 3 years under my heavy use. Design - The case will NOT allow you to push the outer shell in without damaging the design. If you are under the impression that you can simply push it in to conserve space while storing, you are WRONG. It feels like a hard, dense foam mold of some sort for the shell, with red cloth liner inside (very attractive). Unfortunately there are not as many pockets as I would like on the inside but there is definitely enough for the essentials (Phone, iPad, Clothing, MAYBE shoes, water) It could easily fit more in my opinion, I haven't really filled it to the brim with anything, but I will try to take photos and post them for you on its capabilities later on. Will wait a few months and come back to update if necessary. ... show more
