These socket holders work very well and look really nice. In the reviews you’ll notice the negative comments mention that their sockets don’t fit. That’s true, A few of my sockets didn’t fit either, but I don’t believe it’s the socket holders, but the sockets themselves. The sockets that didn’t fit, all didn’t fit in the same way. The skinny part of the socket holder didn’t fit through the thru hole of the socket. The thru hole of the socket is not a critical part of the socket, and therefore will probably very in size. I drilled the thru hole of my sockets just a hair bigger and they fit on the holders just fine. These are great looking holders and I’d recommend them to anybody, and offer them the same solution as well. ... show more

I like how the sizes are easy to read and they come with plenty of room for your sockets. You should put them on the poles with the drive side up for them to fit properly. Some of the poles on the 1/4 drive stand were too wide for my smaller sized sockets. Need to drill out the inside to get them to fit. My only complaint was that the 1/2 socket poles for the deep wells were too tall for my socket drawer. I just cut them down to fit. No issues. I will say if you can find an old Socket Logic tray jump on that and forget these. ... show more

Well pleased with the item overall. Had a hand-full of sockets that would not fit on the pegs, mostly 1/4" metric in my case. Was able to sand down the peg diameters on all but one. Also seems to be quite the price savings over the same item at the local auto parts store.

I bought this socket organizer because I liked the ease of access and clear visual markings on it. I desperately needed a organizer to get my newly purchased toolbox under control. I am a weekend/diy mechanic but needed to get organized as I would always spend most of my time looking for tools in random boxes instead of working on my car. Upon arrival of the organizer, I was shocked at just how many sockets I was missing. It was driving me absolutely crazy looking at the incomplete set and empty pegs. Turns out all of my socket rails had several skips and it would cost a small fortune to buy the missing sockets individually. Luckily, I found a company called olsa tools and they sell affordable full socket rails without skips. They also sell a complete set to fill the entire organizer. Every individual rail they sell has every socket size to fill each line of pegs in the organizer. It sucks that I had to drop several hundred dollars replacing the sockets I already had but it is so satisfying to open my socket drawer and see this organizer full. One thing to mention is 2 or the largest olsa 1/2 deep drive SAE sockets would not fit on the pegs. Easy fix with a little sandpaper on the pegs of the organizer and it slid right on. One additional suggestion I would make would be that I wish the plastic was a bit thicker on the base. My toolbox stays in one place and sometimes I like to grab the whole tray and move it to where I'm working. It has a tendency to bow in the middle on the 3/8 and 1/2 drive because of the weight. Overall, I love this organizer even though it costed me wayyy more than anticipated. Be warned, not for OCD people. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more

This item looks pretty good but I have two issues with it. The first issue is the smaller the socket, the smaller plastic peg. Some of the pegs the sockets fit over are very small and if they last any time at all without snapping off I’ll be surprised. The second issue is that even with some of the smallest pegs being so small they look like they will break, the peg is still too big to allow the designated socket, lets use a 5mm 1/4 inch drive for example, to go through the socket and allow it to sit where it should. Instead the peg just wears the small socket like a hat. This problem could just be with the Kobalt brand sockets or it could be with the socket holder. I would probably buy a different socket holder if I had it to do over. ... show more

I ordered these without reading or really paying attention to the pictures but those 1/2 rails aren't the same length. Kinda bother some but besides that they look freakin great and have yet to break or anything. Update, Ive had these for a couple months now and the only complaint is that a little bit ago I was using brake clean on one of my tools to clean them up and accidentally oversprayed a little on the rails and it discolored them pretty badly. But then again these are made to hold tools. Tools are made to be use... if you use them enough they are bound to get dirty or a bit messed up. For the idiots who say they dont fit on the rails, for god sakes you idiots are supposed to put the sockets upside down as in the hex part, or the part that goes on the bolt downwards. They show them on the picture, I've tested every socket I have, gearwrench, duralast, matco, snap on, tekton, oem tools, sunex, craftsman(new & old) and they all fit... upside down. Yes I will agree with some people that the pegs are too thick for some of the 1/4 sockets. But being we have sockets and we want socket holders also usually implies we have drills.... just drill out the socket a tiny bit and problem solved. For the price and the fact that I haven't broke any peg even after dropping my impact guns on the pegs, I would recommend them. ... show more
