Matched exactly the OEM alternator I removed. It was a bit snug getting the bottom mounting brackets over the engine boss. I would recommend making sure the split washer in the rear mounting bracket is fully seated before putting the alternator in position. With a little bit of grunting, grease and working I managed to get it on the engine boss for a good tight fit. I would recommend having a small alignment punch handy to line up the bottom mounting hole as there is very little room to work with in the front of the Fit's engine compartment. Voltage output was at 14.1 volts. The next test is longevity. It goes a third of what the original Honda alternator went (13 years and 198,000 miles) I'll be happy. Great price, and the seller did a great job of getting my order processed. ... show more

Just like any other aftermarket alternator. It does the job. Just needs a little sanding on the mounting points to fit perfect. That's why only four stars.
