I bought this on Dec 3 2024, it came on Dec 9 2024, when said two day delivery, put in 2005 Chevy Avalanche on Dec 10 2024, went bad on Jan 11 2025 today, just made 33 days and it went bad, started with making noise 2 days ago then no longer charging (Bad) so I'm out the money for buying this bad part, and now have to buy a new one for $179.00 at AutoZone. Not happy at all and I don't recommend. PS I'm a widowed mom of two children, I feel so robbed, should have read the reviews, hopefully your lucky get one that works, I wasn't so lucky. First review I ever left on Amazon, but I'm so pissed. UPDATE the new alternator from AutoZone is in, and guess what, Amazon retailer sold the wrong one to me, I guess anything to make a buck, picture is what this retailer sold me. ... show more

the product fit was the right all numbers correct but the alternator is very noisy like a dry bearing you can hear it inside the vehicle .it charges allright but again veary noisy may have to replace the front bearing

    • the way the alternator was shipped it was not" protected"
i like that it did charge my battery but the" whining" coming from the bearings way to loud its as though the bearings had little or no grease at all and the shipping box was very poorly constructed? i shipped the returned alternator in thick foam and duct tape for its return back to you folks thank you amazon you guys are AWESOME! ... show more
