Was watching reviews on YouTube and this one caught my eye. The battery life of my oculus has been doubled and it feels way better to play for long periods of time. Playing Contractors has always drained my battery faster than id like and I'd often find myself hoping it'd last till the end of the match so I don't have to leave midgame. With attached batter pack it allows me to basically double, if not more, the time that I can have fun playing with friends or just enjoying the VR world. The original oculus strap would often move the headset ever so slightly but it would be enough to bother me and the side strap would always dig into my ears and cause pain when I'd play. Another thing is the ease of turning the knob to tighten and untighten the strap which makes for a fast and comfortable experience. The oculus strap would always pull on my hair or just make me smear my face againt the system when I'd take it off. This strap is probably the best accessory you could get if you'd want to enjoy VR in a comfortable way. ... show more

Ordered this strap since it looked comfortable. The 3 stars are for comfort and long battery life but I deducted 2 because the charging port broke easily when plugging it in, won’t charge and the wire ripped out of the headset strap so it’s basically like a strap now but no back up battery. Ordered a replacement and if the replacement is better then I will update this review to 5 stars for fast response and shipping. Update: I am keeping it at 3 stars because the new strap came and it works but it does not charge my headset at all during use or even when it’s powered off. All it is doing is slowing down the battery drain when before the other headset strap I had kept my headset charged at 100% while in use. This strap is good but I would not recommend it if you plan on using it to charge your headset. You might as well just buy a normal strap without the battery or look for a better elite strap with battery that will actually charge your headset when in use. ... show more

I bought this last December, and the strap tightening system broke after 9 months. It already ratchets to loosen which is the opposite from any other I've ever used, for whatever reason. That system suddenly failed as I tried to tighten it onto my head. Completely useless in less than a year. Beyond that, it never stayed in place for more than a few minutes. I was constantly readjusting despite following instructions and trying to position it many different way. Regardless of where I tighten it to or adjust angle or top strap, it would slide up the back of my head leaving the quest to rest directly on my cheekbones pulling my undereye and lower eyelid down. Too loose or too tight, there was no middle ground to be found. The battery was a mess that I rarely ended up using. I'd charge both it and headset to full, put the quest up, and try to play again in 2 days to find the battery completely dead refusing to charge. The battery would work if I charged right before play or within a day with battery life length lost. It would last maybe 2 hours at full charge if I played right away. I'd truly recommend looking elsewhere especially at this price point. I replaced it with the other I was looking at in December and man, I regret not getting that one first. ... show more

This product works great and if you’re reading this, just buy it. *** Original Review I was pretty impressed with the comfort and overall tightness that this strap provides, and having the extra battery was an immensely great perk for the price. However… I noticed that the strap battery no longer holds a charge.. I was able to use the battery for MAYBE two cycles.. then now it no longer holds any charge, with no indication that it’s charging. I’m pretty bummed because I can’t return it anymore, it’s outside of the return window. Everything else was great.. but now it’s just a nice strap with an extra weight on the back. ... show more

Love this headset, fits nicely, with 6 people in our house who use it, it adjusts quickly and comfortably. Only complaint is the left side clip that holds the Quest to the headset slides out VERY easly, one pull to the quest and it falls off and have to slide it back into place. Im going to use a zip tie to clamp it down, but that would the only complaint I have for it. Worth every penny. ... show more

The Head strap with the battery definitely extends the playing time. I did a workout for over an hour and still had 99% battery life left. Amazing! The best feature of this head strap is the comfort! I was getting headaches with the strap that came with the Oculus Quest 2. I was able to play for over an hour without slipping during a workout. If it started slipping at the beginning, I just cranked it tighter one click. It’s easy to install and just SO comfortable. No more headaches and I can play for hours!
