If your are like most folks and enjoy or are able to rest after a long day of work, at the factory or office or literally wherever you are employed, then you likely have a bed and a pillow. This is not a normal pillow for regular sleeping. It is a specialty pillow for people who suffer from neck pain Note that this pillow is not treatment for neck injury. No way! Go to your doctor if you have a neck injury!! But if you find sleeping at night with a big fluffy pillow under your head and neck uncomfortable then try this pillow out! Does it cure every ache and pain from sieving two herniated discs in my neck? No. Does it make me better able to sleep at night? So far it has helped. Item arrived in a box I opened up the box The pillow was compressed wrapped in plastic I recommend removing the pillow from the plastic wrapper I read the instructions You should too Let the pillow “decompress” before using I waited a few hours It’s foam didn’t smell I placed it inside a clean pillow case (not supplied by vendor, I bought my own elsewhere) Later that night I became tired and I thought going to bed to sleep would be the best thing to do. First thing I noticed was the recess in the pillow wasn’t for saving rh manufacturer money in materials or lack thereof it was to permit your neck and head to have some space to relax This is a good thing for me! For you? I don’t know you so I will say this- try it! It’s a it like having a personal masseuse in bed? I don’t think so Is it like having a chef waiting to cook you a hot meal if your choosing ? Definitely not Buts nice pillow It doesn’t heat up It doesn’t get cold It doesn’t have a motor inside to vibrate It is just a pillow A nice pillow Soft yet firm Comfy I would say Can you take it on an airline flight? I guess you could if you flew in a private jet all the time but otherwise check with your airline first I can’t tell you one way or the other It’s not waterproof as I’ve seen some folks ask that question although I don’t know why. This is a quality pillow. I was so excited to order and get it since the contour cervical pillow I have been using I purchased from a chiropractor 35 years ago!! It has kind of gone flat the last 10 years. From the moment I opened the Amazon box, you could tell this is a quality product and a quality company. The inner box was colorful and well constructed. The pillow inside was packed in a zipper plastic bag. The information and printed material that came with the pillow shows that the pillow and company are high quality and care very much about the product and their customers. I highly recommend this pillow - but make sure you order the correct size for you and not "what you want" and then "hope it will work", which is what I did. I bought the king size because I wanted a longer pillow on my king size bed... the king size pillow is also taller/thicker. That is wherein the problem for me lies. It is almost 5" tall on the side with the cervical ramp and so far that has given me a neck ache; disappointing because I did not have a neck ache before. As instructed by the directions, I took a piece from the bottom center of the pillow to lower (make it thinner) the pillow. However, it lowers the part where you lay your head if you are a back sleeper, not the pillow sides which are the high part. That center area (dip) where you lay your head is not where my neck ache comes from. My neck aches because I am a side sleeper and I am putting my head on either side of the dip - which is the high part of the pillow. I even turned the pillow around to the lower side but that side does not have the cervical ramp nor the raised area on the sides of the dip for side sleeping. I am likely going to give up and go to another memory foam pillow I have that is not so tall. It doesn't give me a neck ache because it is lower. I am disappointed and wonder if I should have ordered the regular size which is not so thick. Great pillow, great customer support, and also a great company - I likely ordered the wrong size.

This pillow is around 3.5 stars. The pillow is breathable which is nice! It's on the firm side and provides a lot of neck support. Because it is so firm I feel like it pushes my head instead of supports it sometimes and may not be helping with my neck problems like I expected. The pillow is smaller than a standard pillow but because of its shape it's plenty big and requires you to sleep on a certain spot of it for the full benefit which can be tough.
