Price and quality. Quality isn't top level, but it's good. And the price is great (1/3 to 1/2 of what Ford wants). Only had them a couple of months and have not done a long road trip yet, but so far so good. They work well for backing the trailer and for going down the highway at 60mph.

I love these for towing my new RV. Made a big difference. Installation was smooth, make sure you line up the plug to go in the hole on the passengers side, it's a little stiff. Great value, would love to have the front turn signal also, but of course that cost more.

Well made, easy to install, plugs right in and all functions work. That said, the puddle lamps that come with are not bright and one of them did not work when installed. To avoid hassle of removing the mirrors for return/replacement I purchased aftermarket LED puddle lamps that fit and function perfect with these mirrors. I would recommend them. ... show more

Fantastic bargain for an incredible upgrade! In addition to visibility, there are lights on the bottom to illuminate your truck perimeter when you unlock the vehicle and turn signals lights on them as well. If you have an xl basic model like me, this gives you several nice upgrades at a very low cost!! Now putting my drift boat in the river is as easy as glancing left to right. ... show more

    • Works for towing, not so much for everyday driving
I have had mine about 3 months now. And I love them for when I am towing my trailer. The biggest issue I have is the passenger side upper mirror. It is the same on the driver side but not as noticeable. My original passenger side mirror had more of a curve to it. Objects were smaller in the passenger side then they were on the drivers side and made it easier to see more of a viewing area. I know that that is what the bottom mirror on these is for, but to me it is a little overkill and hard to judge distances with. Short story long, these are flat. Ever since I learned to drive I have always liked being able to just barely see my back bumper in the mirrors. When I do that with these, I am not able to see the lane next to me. When I move it out to be able be able to see that lane, I have no reference to see if I have enough clearance to move over. I thought I would get use to it after a while, but I never have. I was at the point of putting my original mirrors back on and then switch them out again when it becomes camping season again, but I decided to try and replace the glass to see if that will help. I do really love these for when I am towing, so I would recommend in that case, but when my kid needs to use my truck for her maneuverability test to get her license, I think I will pass. These mirrors look nice and worked well while they were working. They did Not bounce or rattle around while going down the road, however, the first time we extended them, one side jammed in the extended position and would not push back in as it’s supposed to. After tearing the mirror apart, we found a little plastic tab had broken off. It was discouraging that this had happened on the first use. I would not recommend these mirrors. ... show more
