Sturdy once it's put together. Instructions are fairly clear but assembly isn't the easiest. Broke a shelf installing hardware, but not the end of the world. Chusions are not the softest, but they're better than sitting on the floor.

Extremely satisfied with the quality. It’s sturdy has plenty of storage. Bought it for my 7 year old, but I myself also sit on the bench while we read. It’s comfy and will hold my kiddo for many more years to come. Instructions well explained. Easy to assemble.

It’s quite nice looking as a furniture item and fits well in a young kid’s room. However it took four hours to build and the instructions don’t say where most of the wooden dowels should be installed. The biggest problem is that the instructions are pretty bad. The nook is cute. Perfect for my daycare of 2 to 4 year olds. Too small for kids any larger. It took me 3 hours to assemble. The directions were terrible and I ended up having to use a drill on some screws when it was only calling for a screwdriver. I can not stress the difficulty.
