I purchased this alternator in April 2024., Installed with no issues. After the 1st. 30 days- the alternator began a consistent “Hum- like whistle noise,- Then it went to intermittent for the next month. And in the 3rd. Month- July 2024 it simply Quit!!! All together. $90 plus dollars with taxes fees etc. Gone Down the Drain. If you like to throw away your money?? Purchase Away… ... show more

    • Dimensions not right
After flawless uninstall of the old alternator, problems came once new one was being installed. The fitting for the lower bolt was off about 2 millimeters. Had to grind the part down until it fit. Otherwise, product worked after install.

Works on the 2012 accord. Hardest part was removing the condenser fan bottom bolts and the electrical connector. Remove skid load clips and work from the bottom. After that it’s easy, make sure you knock the bushing on the engine side in to allow the new alternator to fit without issue. Makes a humming noise but it works. ... show more
