    • Great price and works so far
I replaced with this alternator on my 2011 town and country. It has been two months and has no issues so far. I got several estimates from auto shops including dealers and was getting a quote for $1000 or more. I decided to replace myself. The replacement for the town and country is a PITA. I first tried to replace it from the bottom by removing the wheel and serpentine bell. There was just not enough space to take it out without moving the compressor. Then I tried from the top by removing the fan and coolant reservoir, I was able to get to the old alternator with more working space and lift the old alternator straight out for an replacement. After installing the new alternator and starting the car, the voltage on the meter read 14.38. It was a pure excitement to see that. I am not sure how long it will hold up. For the price, I can replace it again and again and it is still way cheaper than the estimates that I have received. Definitely recommend. ... show more

Came in around 5pm I got off work ,changed it out, took about 1hr 30mins bc I was doing it in the dark. Tested it after finished reading 14.60v, saved myself $175 for what the part store wanted. Only complaint is only 30 day warranty

Install went well and alternator is making juice. From the outside it seemed like a well-built alternator,but we will see how long the internals hold up. Thought I would try this before buying a $400 remanufactured alternator that still have issues with them. May just take my core to an alternator and starter rebuild shop and have it rebuilt for a backup just in case💁 ... show more

    • Died after three months
Alternator died after just three months. One of the diodes gave out and alternator started whining. I’m outside the return window and they have no option to contact them directly to get any warranty or support.

The first alternator was defective. I could hear something loose or scraping inside. I received a replacement right away. I installed it, and so far all is good. I am giving only 3 stars since there was an issue with the first one.
