This is one of the best Camping/traveling blankets I have used in a long time. For the price, it is worth every penny. It has a smallish footprint and compacts to a small/medium sized bag, and is very well made. I've had issues before where the camping gear you buy, never fits back into the bag/traveling case you first initially take it out of. This blanket is not one of those cases - The blanket easily folds up, and there is an elastic band to help keep it all tied up into a small rollup to fit into the bag. Very convenient! As far as I took this camping over the weekend, with the night time temperatures dropping to the low 50s/High 40s. Using this to keep warm in a camping chair is the business, and the waterproof outer layer is an added bonus. I only used this as my blanket while as I was sleeping, and it provided enough warmth to last me the whole night without me waking up from the cold shivers. Great Traveling blanket - I can see myself throwing it in my car during the Winter months of the year just in case, or during a football game in the fall time - pretty much anytime you need a blanket outside of home, this will be my guy for now on. ... show more

Bought this for wet and snowy days spent sitting outside on the deck swing. Snow, rain? The heavy ripstop nylon shell is completely waterproof. Wrap yourself in this thing and it keeps your seat nice and dry. It keeps you warm enough. It's thin, but, like space blankets, they keep the elements from robbing body heat as they trap body heat within; but it does do an admirable job of keeping you warm in freezing weather (31 degrees this morning for an hour). Just got back from sitting outside on a frozen snowy seat. I wrapped myself in this thing and ...ahhh.. :0) Oh, the blue isn't just 'blue' it's a beautiful Royal Blue! Dries fast and is always ready to go. Impressed. Rarely do we get real value for money these days, but this is worth every cent. ... show more

What I like about the blanket is that it's waterproof on top, lightweight, and the sherpa side is soft and seems like it will be cozy. What I wish were different is the size. After washing once in cold water and drying on delicate, it's dimensions are actually 77" x 57". Even my twin sized blankets measure roughly 63" x 87", so to call this blanket "Queen Sized" is a little misleading. Definitely take note of the dimensions in the description and subtract an inch or so. Even if you went by the mattress top dimensions of a queen it would be lacking. Still, it seems like it's going to hold up well and might offer enough room for a couple seated closely together to have a little coverage while watching rainy soccer games. ... show more

I absolutely love how soft and warm and comforting this sherpa blanket is. It is like being wrapped in a warm cloud. It is so lightweight and breathable considering how incredibly warm it is. It is also weatherproof and durable. Stains are easy to get out and it washes well (in the gentle cycle on cold water then line dry or air dry). This blanket is so large that it can fit more than one person or it can also be perfect for just a pet because mine love this blanket just as much as all my other family members. I got this for my son-in-law for his birthday. He loved it!! He is a youth pastor and attends lots of sports events of the kids in his youth group & goes to football & baseball games with his dad & brother every chance he gets! The day I gave it to him he was headed to a football game with his dad (unbeknownst to me) and it was raining & cold.
