I use my kayak in calm water so I can not say how these would work in water with a current. For me this paddle was easy to put together and seeing it comes apart I store inside my kayak. The pieces once together had no issues of slipping . I t was nice the center could be adjusted to angle of paddles that I wanted. Yes they did float and the tether that was included made it easy to retrieve my paddle. Easy to carry and store as they are Lightweight and disassembles easily for storage. I have the black paddles as my kayak is orange and black. No issues of color fading.

The OCEANBROAD 4 Pieces Kayak Paddle set offers good value and solid performance for kayaking, canoeing, and boating activities. Each paddle features a durable alloy shaft that feels sturdy while still being lightweight enough for comfortable use over extended periods. The floatable design is a great safety feature, giving peace of mind in case the paddle is dropped in the water. At 90.5 inches (230 cm), the length is suitable for most kayaks and user heights, providing good leverage and control. While the paddles perform well in most conditions, I’m giving 4 stars because the finish isn’t quite as premium-looking as some higher-end models, and they could feel a bit more ergonomic for intensive paddling sessions. Overall, a reliable and practical choice for the price, especially for recreational paddlers.

The kayak paddle was comfortable and easy to grip and paddle with. The paddle was easy to assemble and I liked that you can break it down for storage. I bought foam grips to carry it and use so that the metal doesn’t get hot when carrying and paddling. The standard foam grips were a must and a great investment. This paddle has a nice contour that helped pull the water and made it easy to track and move the water. The paddle drains so no water gets trapped in the center. Overall, this was a very good, high quality paddle for kayaking and I’d recommend it. Both my husband, 6 foot and myself, 5’4 were able to use it with no issues. I also loved that it was offered in so many different colors!

Love this new kayak paddle. Its almost 2 ft longer than my old paddle. The longer paddle is so much easier, plus I stay drier from not splashing as badly. I also like that it came with the 2 rubber splash guards and a leash. It has the adjuster holes so you can change the angle as well. The fact that it breaks down into 4 pieces is great, much easier to transport it.
