Description

Unlike other awnings, our Nomadic 180 requires no poles to set it up because of the pair of reinforced oversize hinges and heavy-duty rafters. Our covers are manufactured out of 280G poly cotton rip stop material that has heat sealed seams which ensure you’re not going to see any leaks through seams regardless of the size of rain you’re dealing with. If you see the weather changing or something stronger than a breeze turns up, you can deploy the three pivoting aluminum poles and adjust to your desired height with a quick lock system in seconds. When its time to lock down base camp for serious weather, deploy the poles, secure the stakes with the supplied para-cord and put up the optional enclosure shelter and your ready to take on some the most severe storms. When its time to stow your Nomadic 180 away it takes minutes to break down and secures nicely in 1000g PVC cover.

Installed in 2020 Toyota 4Runner with 3rd party roof rack. The quality is good, installation is straight forward. Good coverage. But I have to return it. My issue with this awning is when it’s deployed the rear door of the 4runner cannot be opened to its full height because the door swing open higher above the roof line. The rear section/arm of the awning when opened obstruct the rear door from opening properly because of the design of the door itself which is slightly wide above the rear taillights. In other words, this awning will not work if your rear door design is like what I described. Now if using this awning without needing access/opening of the trunk then yeah it’s okay. But I was hoping that with the awning deployed I could just keep the rear door open to kind of add more shades. But that is not the case. I hope this help. ... show more

Easy to install, did it buy myself, but would’ve been easier with an extra set of hands. Setup and tear down is simple and quick. Used during a rain storm, no leaks, and even without the guy lines I had no issues with wind. You really can’t beat it for the price, not sure what makes the competition more expensive ... show more

I didn't have to many options with the 180 awning. But I liked the ovs more because of the one piece hinge and arms. Looks well made. What I did not like is that is hard for one person to close if you want to do it without tearing something specially in one of the corners and also the poles fall off when you want to adjust it. I think if they had more velcro straps it would close easier. But I'm very happy with my purchase it's going to make beach trips easier. ... show more

This awning is really nice, solid build and holds itself up. Awning sets up in about 3mins and the built in poles is sweet, nice guy cables as well . Definitely worth the price.

The OVS Nomadic 180 Awning it just what I was looking for. Sturdy, cuts the sun and heat, and very easy set up/take down. Mounted on a Prinsu rack but did require a trip to Lowes for some carriage bolts to fit the rack rails. Holding strong and working great =-)

I can't begin to tell you how much I like this thing . it fits my 4runner Gobi rack great , it deploys in about 30 seconds , packs up in an about 45 seconds . it's always there , I use it a lot and everyone that sees it , wants it . I've seen the big brands , the knockoffs.. this one beats them all . I absolutely love it! Make sure you don't roll it up , fold it up . Make sure you get boat zipper lube (here on Amazon) if you offroad alot . it will keep the super heavy duty zipper working great . HIGHLY RECOMMEND ... show more
