This is my second pair of Oboz. The first I've been wearing regularly for the last five years. They've done everything from hiking trails in the PNW to pounding the pavement in Paris to trudging through the rocky soil in Afghanistan and held up wonderfully. So, this new pair has a lot to live up to. First, they are much stiffer that my original pair right out of the box, which I'm attributing to these being waterproof. They were also a bit tighter across my foot. I wore the new pair around for a couple of days without covering a lot of ground and ended up with a couple of hot spots, but no blisters. Once, they got broken in, the fit is perfect. I did notice they are a bit warmer that my previous pair, again most likely owing to being waterproof. Since it's in the 30's when I walk to work this time of year, not a big deal. As far as durability, only time will tell. If they last half as long as my last pair, it will be well worth the cost.

The media could not be loaded. Went on a multi-day hiking trip to NB Canada and managed to get 3 inches of rain while up there. Wore these boots more as a test, knew they were comfortable from previous hikes and I was really surprised by the waterproofing quality of these boots. As long as the water stayed below the ankle, I was dry as could be. You can see in my attached video how wet they did infact get, but my feet stayed dry. Highly recommend these for wet weather hikes!

These need time to break in, and when you finally do, they need to be replaced. Mine lasted about 3 months.

I have ordered size 9 shoes for years and they fit nicely. When i got these shoes i could not put my foot in them. I wanted a 9.5 wide but could not find that size so i got a 9.5 instead. It is still pretty tight but they do not rub or give me blisters so i am happy. they seem well made and i expect them to stretch a little bit so i think they will be good

SO I wear a 10.5 wide, ordered these in a low and mid in a 10.5 wide, 11 wide 11.5 wide. The toe box is so narrow I had to go with the 11.5 wide. Not a big deal, just heads up. Super comfortable, light weight and not flashy.

The fit and feel is great. Lace up is quick and easy, and they are holding up great. My only complaint is they run a little hot. These are my first water resistant Oboz and I think that is the difference… the water barrier make for a slightly hotter shoe.
