  • Comfortable
Color: Pale Moss Size: 7.5 Wide
Perfect for hiking. Bought a half size bigger and a wide because I like to wear two socks when it's cold. Love these!

  • Great boot
Love these boots! Size is perfect. Comfy!

  • Great hiking boot - highlu recommend
I purchased this for a weeklong road trip to the National Parks - Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley and Grand Canyon. Did hikes in the rain, snow, and desert terrain. The boots were comfortable and did not require a break-in period. They kept my feet warm, dry and comfortable. Very sturdy and just enough ankle support for rocky terrain. I purchased half size up to allow for thicker socks. Recommend pairing with wool hiking socks for ultimate comfort and performance. ... show more

  • Great
I love this although I went hiking on rock up in the UP and it was a little slippery. But otherwise amazing boots

  • Comfy but falling apart
Color: Pale Moss Size: 10.5
I love the fit and feel of my Oboz but they are falling apart way too quickly. The boots pictured are 2 months old with less than 150 miles of hiking on them. The rubber toe caps peeled off both shoes in the first month. The boots look much older than they are, and seriously beaten up. I contacted the vender; their response was that they do not warranty "wear & tear". Do not buy these boots! They do not stand up and the vender does not stand behind the product. By comparison, my previous hiking boots lasted 3 seasons and over 1000 miles before they fell apart. ... show more

  • Many good qualities
I did not buy this shoe (10.5 Women's Wide) from Amazon, but another dealer. Since I have significant problem feet - plantar fasciitis, posterior tibial tendonitis with fallen arch, Morton's Neuroma, Hallux Valgus & Tayor's bunions, and arthritis in the ankle, toes and spine- it's been a struggle to find the 'perfect' shoe / boot. I've been the route of New Balance, Merrell's, Lowa's, Keen's and thought I'd try the Oboz Sawtooth II Mid Waterproof Boots - Wide. The most comfortable shoes / boots for me up to this point has been the Keen Targhee III Men's 8.5 Wide. The Keen shock absorption for my spinal issues has been superb coupled with Aetrex Memory Foam orthotics with Metatarsal Support. But the Keen Targhee III 8.5 Men's wide had begun to bother my Taylor bunions and I always noticed some discomfort with my posterior tibial tendonitis especially while wearing the low version. In my opinion the Oboz Sawtooth II offers excellent arch support and is a benefit to my fallen arch, posterior tibial tendonitis, and the women's 10.5 wide actually feels wider than the Keen's 8.5 men's wide so my bunions are happier. However; the shock absorption although good isn't nearly as good as in the Keen Targhee III so my spine isn't as happy and my foot fatigues more quickly in regards to the plantar fasciitis. If I could blend the shock absorption of the Keen's Targhee III with the Oboz Sawtooth II arch and general support, heel stabilization and width, I'd have my perfect shoe / boot. FYI: I'm keeping the Oboz Sawtooth II since at this point although my spine isn't the happiest it makes my ankle and bunions happier. I'll just switch off between the Keen's and Oboz until I find a shoe / boot that accommodates both issues. ... show more

  • Disappointing for an expensive boot
Color: Brind\u002ftb Size: 6.0
I really wanted to love these. A friend has a pair and raves about them. She's significantly taller than I am, so perhaps it's a height issue? My short legs hated these. I bought them from Rei, but the ad blockers wouldn't allow me to leave a review there. Comfort - 5 stars I tried on about 5-6 pairs of boots. These were the only ones that fit out of the box. NOTE: I have wide feet, and even had these stretched. I bought them a size bigger to allow for thick winter socks. Tred: 1 star These are probably great in a dry climate, but not a wet one like New York. A friend of mine was wearing Canadian kodiaks; she effortlessly clambered over wet rocks while I slid on my rear end. It got so dangerous we switched trails. This wasn't a demanding hike by any stretch of the imagination, but these boots made it feel unsafe. Gait - 1 star One reviewer described them as "Wearing 2 bricks on your feet" and I would agree with that. I felt exhausted after what can only be described as a casual stroll in the woods. I wasn't even carrying anything. I asked my hiking buddy if we could turn back. When I got home, I realized my hips were killing me. It happened the next time as well during a city walk. This didn't happen in my sneakers or old pair of Keens (which these replaced) so these are definitely the cause. Very disappointed in a very expensive boot. Don't believe the hype. ... show more
