  • These are the best shoes I have ever owned
Size: 11.5 Color: Dark Shadow
I've always been tough on shoes, and have purchased other premium brands in the past. After three or four months they usually start to split at the seams on the sides. Even expensive shoes. I've spent $140, $160, and $200 on shoes before and they still wouldn't last all that long. Also I needed waterproof shoes since I walk my dog 800 miles a year in a rainy climate where it rains all the time. Even the most expensive shoes I've purchased previously would start losing their waterproofing abilities before six months. My current pair of Oboz shoes are going on over a year and a half now, with no side seam splitting and they still keep my feet dry. But nothing lasts forever, they are looking pretty tattered and dirty and they stay wet on the outside, but not on the inside, if that makes sense. I'll clean them and spray them again and keep wearing wearing them every day like I have been at my construction job. But I just now ordered a brand new pair! They'll be my going out on the town shoes. Yes, I should mention that these look great as well. So for durability, waterproofing, comfort and reasonable break it time (the soles will feel a little hard at first and need to break in) I highly recommend these Oboz shoes. I think these will by my fourth pair, so I finally think that I owe them a good review. ... show more

  • Comfortable
Size: 12 Wide Color: Canteen Brown
My husband has a difficult time finding shoes that fit right. He went with the wide and it fit him perfectly. He wears them almost every day and says they're comfortable. So far they appear to be of good quality.

  • Great, comfortable, durable shoes!
Size: 9.5 Color: Canteen Brown
Great shoes. They take about a week to break in with the area around the laces uncomfortable. After that they are the comfortable for work and daily wear. I rarely wear tennis shoes now. I am going on my 5th pair, with each pair lasting me about 2 years, with daily wear. I get a half size larger than my Asics/New Balance running shoes. ... show more

  • Very nice boot. Wish they had more WIDE sizes!! size 12
Size: 12 Color: Dark Shadow
I've worn nothing but Keens for a long time, but decided to give these a shot. Unfortunately, won't be keeping them because I need a wide and they don't carry any in the style I like. I would say they fit pretty true to size, but I just need a slightly bigger toe box(the reason I've worn Keens so long) -These are definitely a quality made boot. from the lugs, leather, sole attachment, inside fabric, and insole.. 100% built to last - They HUG your feet! Even though these are a bit narrow for me, you can still tell they are made to comfortably cradle your foot. anybody saying they run way to narrow probably just isn't used to a boot gripping your heel so perfectly. and it's not just padding, they are formed this way. You could probably buy a size too big and they'd still probably hold your heel great. -very nice looking boot. Always hated the look of Merrel Moabs and other similar boots. these are a pretty nice looking boot. you can tell they are definitely worth the money. they will be replacing my standard Targhee if I can find a wide in the color I like. ... show more

  • Love my Oboz, happy to have found a company better quality then Merrell and Keen! Love my Oboz, happy to have found a company better quality then Merrell and Keen!
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Shadow
I've worn these shoes for 2 months now and absolutely love them. Great quality and fit. I've worn merells and keens previously. The Merrells came apart very quickly in the first few months. The keens lasted nearly 2 years and were comfortable but not as supportive as these Oboz. For those that don't know these are made in the USA. That was a selling point for me as I would rather support the small US company then Chinese offshore. I've worn these outdoors primarily on dirt and rock and some concrete. They performed great on all surfaces. They insulate really well while worn on a airport tarmac. -great fit with NO break in at all -ton of support and very cushy outsole -these feel good enough to run in -waterproof, I tested them a few times this fire season ONLY negative: The insoles have little holes in them for breathability but some of the holes don't go all the way thru. If you work on sandy surfaces dirt and sand will get down into the shoe and fill those holes. You will always have to pull the insole out and shake it out. Not a huge deal but some some. ... show more

  • Rugged high quality shoe
Size: 13 Color: Dark Shadow
Have purchased this shoe twice a year for almost a decade. It’s the only shoe I found that keeps my feet from pronating and prevents my knees from bothering me. Not cheap but outstanding quality.

  • Good stiff, light hiker
Size: 11 Color: Dark Shadow
I have always worn heavy hiking boots with steel shanks. They provided great support and protection for the hikes I used to do. However, I don't do those hikes anymore and needed something that was lighter but would still provide good support for my feet. I saw the description and reviews for these Oboz Bridger Low boots and took a chance. The first impression was that these things are stiff. I mean, really stiff. They felt more like road cycling shoes than hikers and I hoped they'd loosen up a little. After the first day the foot insole molded to my feet and they loosened up a little. After about 10 or 15 miles of use, they're still a little stiff but not so much that you can't use them as daily shoes. I've used them in the office and on dirt and road walks and they're working fine. The cleats/outsoles are pretty rugged and, in my opinion, relegate them more to trails and hikes versus daily wearing on concrete. If you're looking for something to wear around the office or wear on hard surfaces, there are probably better choices. With that said, I am using them daily. The toe box width is good and gives me lots of room to move. I can't attest to their waterproof ability. They're low hikers so regardless, if you're out on the trail, water will likely seep in from the ankles. That's not a knock on these Oboz but is just a reality to the type of boot it is. I wear an 11 and these fit fine but there's not a lot of extra room. I won't wear thick socks with these...they're summer hikers. Wearing mid-weight hiking socks was ok. Again, the 11s fit almost perfectly but don't leave a lot of extra room for thick socks. Regular crew socks just about fill these out without getting tight. The heels fit fine and don't slip. I have high arches and these feel fine. I have little foot fatigue when worn on long walks/hikes of 6 or 7 miles (so far) whereas other shoes will leave my feet tired. I got the Dark Shadow and my wife says they look good so they get style points. They're not cheap but, if they hold up, they are a really good option for the person looking for a stiff, light hiker. ... show more

  • Too small and WAY too narrow.
Size: 9 Wide Color: Dark Shadow
Awsome looking shoes! US made! Very well built! .....but. I bought my usual size, too small and way too narrow. Bought another pair one half size up. Same issue. Ordered a wide in the half size up. Same. Still way too narrow. So much so that it hurt to walk. I really wanted to like these! Maybe I got 3 bad ones... I do have a titanium toe joint that makes my feet hurt more than other people. I dont have this issue with other shoes. Again great shoes .. Just not for me. ... show more
