This is a great little amp. It isn’t going to blow walls down, but for a personal practice amp I think it’s great. If I am playing my phone through it as a Bluetooth speaker it is amazing and can be very loud. It’s the best sounding Bluetooth speaker I have heard. I play everything from banjo to bass guitar. I have to keep the volume down when playing the bass, but it sounds good enough to practice or just lay back and play with different sounds. I’m older and don’t play loud and aggressive music. If you play loud or enjoy heavy metal then this isn’t for you. I would think that you could destroy the speaker and burn out the amp if you crank it up too much for too long on any bass instrument. As for standard guitar playing, it is pleasant for an inexpensive battery powered amplifier. It handles vocals well. The distortion affect is there but not very strong. It’s so nice to take my guitar and this little amp into the living room and lie back in my recliner and relax by playing anything I can remember.

Honestly, I was surprised! For the price, it is a great little amp. Sounds great and has bluetooth so you can even play music from your phone through it. The reason for only 4 stars is that it needs a 1/4 in output to loop an effects peddle. It only has the 1/4 in. Other than that I highly suggest you try this out before going with more expensive practice amps.

Cheap and the build quality reflects that. Not loud enough to street perform on a busy corner. Sounds cheap too. Useful as a Bluetooth speaker. Does not include rechargeable batteries.

Great Amp! Sound quality is good, it's fairly durable, easy to use, and I love that it has a port for regular aux. I use it as a speaker for me computer and TV.
