The mod5 has a hybrid shell design that provides increased protection to common high-impact areas. It also features a modular brim system (mbs) that redefines seamless helmet and Goggle Integration, while also aiding in Goggle anti-fog performance by funneling hot, humid air out of the Goggle and through the brim of the helmet. The mod5 includes a boa closure system securing the helmet fit with 270 degrees of adjustment, a fid lock magnetic buckle providing the convenience of one-handed use while wearing gloves. The mod5 delivers the perfect balance of premium functionality and increased protection, giving you the confidence to find new boundaries. Product was not used in any outdoor activity no scratches. Was really sceptical but I did purchase it for 103$ I thought it would be a lightly used because it originally cost 270. But nonethe less great deal and I am guessing it was a return because the Oakley helmet bag wasn’t originally folded and I have purchased original Oakley products before and that doesn’t bother me because the sticker wasn’t even missing and it’s like purchasing from a store people will try it on their heads. The company selling is legit more than likely the product will be new. But for the actual helmet it’s self the sizing is very difficult to wrap your finger around. I am a 56 1-2 on my head and I got a medium but the new one I purchased is a large is 59-63. The medium mod 5 fits very tight on my temple to the point of a migraine in 5 minutes. But sits well when going down. I usually like to wear a balaclava so that would not work what so ever. The large leaves a tadbit of wobble rim in the front but sides are snug and with a balaclava fit perfect. Even with boa the large sits kinda low and weird angle for my Oakley flight deck. I would recommend to try it out and don’t blind purchase but if u wear balaclavas always size up reasonably. ... show more

Love how this one has the spin adjuster. The mag lock is awesome. Only annoying thing I have noticed is that it slides back a tad but I just readjust when needed. My Cardo com system was easy to put in the ears on this helmet which is a win in my books!

Unless you already have worn this helmet, do not buy it. The sizing is not the same as other helmets due to the odd shape. You will pay 30% in item restocking if you purchase your typical helmet size.
