I had 2 pairs of Holbrooks previously, and really liked the appearance and fit. However, when working out, hiking, or during other physically strenuous activities, I would notice pressure just above my ears that caused a slight headache. When I lost my last pair of Holbrooks recently, I was tempted to re-buy again. However, I saw the Slivers, and read about the 3 points of contact / less pressure / blah blah blah. I decided to give it a try. A week in, I'm very happy with the purchase. The Slivers feel lighter on my head, but perhaps because I don't notice them very much with the 3 points of contact. Overall, very happy I made the switch, and general size/appearance is very similar to Holbrooks...just slightly better :-D ... show more

It appears to be an authentic pair however it arrived in an Oakley box in a softshell case which is very disappointing as I would've expected to get the Oakley hardshell case as you would have gotten on the Oakley store.
